Give me strength my DH just baked cookies the girls talked him into it. I am being strong but they smell so good.
I am stronger than the cookies, I am stronger than the cookies, I am stronger than the cookies, I am stronger than the cookies... :wizard:

That's okay, tomorrow is my daughter's bday and I just picked up a giant chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting cake with Care Bears from the grocery store. Give me strength!

Hi Lisa,
I like a comment someone made on another site and it's something I have to say to myself from time to time. So repeat after me: "I know what cookies taste like. I don't need to eat them." Now keep repeating it to yourself until you believe it. :)
I hope you were able to resist those evil cookies yesterday!

Thank you for your words of encouragements... I was strong yesterday. Not even a nibble, there are a few left but I told DH eat them now because they are getting tossed tonight. They don't look as tempting today since they aren't warm out of the oven.
Lisa- Nice Clippie..... woo hoo :cheer2: ... you had a good weekend.

I am going to a wedding on Saturday and I am already preparing myself.
"I AM NOT HAVING ANY CAKE"
"I AM NOT HAVING ANY CAKE"
"I AM NOT HAVING ANY CAKE"
I have already told my DH to not let me have any!
Good luck with your fight against the cookies!
Christy
