So, we don't have SuperTarget near us -- is it like SuperWal-Mart, with a grocery store inside? We're thinking of stopping at Mall of Millenia on our first day (this Saturday -- hooray) and I was thinking SuperTarget would be a good place to get reasonably priced groceries. What do you guys think?

Yes, our superTarget is like our superWalmart. I think the grocery prices are a little higher than Walmart, about the same as a regular grocery store. But could just be my area. Enjoy your stop.

I shop at my ST weekly for my groceries. Nicer store than the Walmart.

When I found the Kissimmee one it looked new, or the parking lot was under construction. It was gorgeous and they even had their own "disney store" inside.

Hi  From Ontario. I just asked on another post. How close is a Super Target to Sheriton Vistana. We know how to get to the Super Walmart-up around the corner then down some. Sorry don't know street names yet :confused3

I'm from Ontario too. I just looked on the Target website and there seem to be a few. I know last year (feb 2004) we went to a Target and it seemed very far away from our timeshare in Winter Garden. Still love Target though. I think this new one is closer. I know the people at the front desk were always great about showing us on maps where to go to get to places.
We will be in Florida Feb 23-March 6.

We just got a Super-Target on the coast and I love it. Just slightly higher than Wal-Mart prices but definitely less than the Publix's and Albertson's.

I love my Super Target. I do all my grocery shopping (and everything else shopping) there. The selection is not quite as wide as a major grocery chain, but it works for me. They have done some shopping comparison tests around her, and Target always comes out the cheapest of all the stores in our area. The one I go to is about 7 miles from home, but we are supposed to get one less than a mile from here in June 2006!

No super ANY stores around here. I live in north Jersey. We always visit these stores when on vacation.

Is the super Target different than the Target Greatland? Our Target stores have some food items, but nothing like that of a super Wal-Mart.

Yes, it is a regular Target with a full grocery store inside.

We just got a new Super Target in my neck of the woods and I really like the store. One thing that I really like is their store brands of many items. For example, their brand of sour cream is the best I have ever had, their cheese (sliced American) is great. Tuna is good, chuck light is .50 a can (and they have 4 cans of albacore Bumble Bee tuna 4 cans for $2.99 THAT is a bargain!). They also have several frozen food items, great prices, good quality. I really like being able to go to the store and buy off the shelf (not wait for a sale which is what I usually do, but sometimes I just plain need the stuff!). At Super Target their prices on many items are good, so I can force myself not to wait for a sale. Not everything is a great price. As usual it is good to go in informed as to what is a bargain.

PS Anyone use Listerine Citrus flavor?? The Target brand is 1/4 the price and just as good!

The Super Target at 535 and 192 is a lot closer than the Mall at Millenia. It is a very new store. 192 is torn up in front of the store but there is a light to turn at.

They just opened a new JoAnn's store in that complex also. It's very nice.
