US/IOA first week in August?

We are going to US & IOA for 2 days (a Friday & Saturday) the first week of August. What are the park hours usually like? What are the crowds like? We will be spending one night at RPR, so we will have FOTL. Also, is there any nighttime entertainment that we should see?

I'm not sure about the crowds in August as I've never been there during that time. The parks will be open from 9am to 10pm while you're there. As far as the night life, I just like walking around City Walk and checking out everything. It's a really fun atmosphere. Margaritaville is a great place to have dinner.
