View Full Version : Free Disney Transportation????

A friend of mine is going to WDW in a few weeks and she asked me about the "free transportation" for people staying on site.
Now, I always take a towncar and most likely will continue to take a towncar. So I had no idea what she was talking about.
Is there "free" transportation from the airport to WDW Resorts???

The new "Disney Your Way" Packages are going to offer "free" (package inclusive) transfers to and from the Orlando Airport to WDW resorts for guests staying onsite.
We're used to taking towncars too but we thought we'd try this new service since we'll be traveling with our 2 year old in December and liked the options it provides.
The main aspect of this service that attracted us is that you don't even touch your luggage in Orlando. The Disney staff takes your luggage right from the plane, loads it on the motorcoach, and takes it to your resort hotel room. Upon arrival in Orlando, check-in is at the airport so people shouldn't have to check-in again at their hotels. Also, when the travel party books their itinerary with this service, they enter their flight numbers so (in theory at least) the motorcoach should be waiting to take the travel party immediately to WDW.
It sounded too good to us to pass up.
The latest WDW travel kits (DVDs/CDs) claim this service starts in May so you probably won't hear reviews about it until then.
I hope this helps! We're interested in hearing reviews about it too.

Thanks for the information! :flower:
But do you know if this service will be offered to all staying on site or only to people who book "Disney Your Way Packages"?
Thanks again! :wave2:

Well, I know it's available to DVC members... and they aren't booking any Magic Your Way packages.

barbarabee - thanks for that information! It's something to consider. I'll keep an eye out for posts about the service. Do you know what it's called; ie. "WDW Express" or something on that order??
Thanks again!! :wave2:
