I really need to bring in a few extra dollars, but due to several circumstances, it needs to be flexible. I was thinking about card stocking, or educational book stocking. Does anyone have any idea how I could find out about these jobs in my area, or any other suggestions. Thanks!

have you ever considered waiting tables? Or how about a host? both havee very flexable hours and you could even be scheduled for 2 shifts a week. The shifts only last about 4 hours.

Or if you live near a theme park, they seem to use mostly part timers and usually good about working around your schedule.

A friend had a job doing those demonstrations in supermarkets where they give out coupons and samples. I don't think she worked a lot, but she enjoyed getting out and talking to people.

To find out about the book or card stocking, ask in the stores to see who the vendor is. They may be able to get the information. I know most stores like Wal-Mart, Walgreens, grocery stores, etc use vendors to do these types of jobs. Also, look in the general or retail help wanted section of your paper~~that is where they are usually listed.

What you are looking for is called Merchandising. You can go to www.volition.com and you they have a list of companies that do it.
