Thanks for the tip. I uploaded 53 pics past night and put my order through this morning, for a whopping total of $1.47. Got the order confirmation email shortly after I placed the order, stating that the order should ship within 24 hours. I did a google search on them and there are a variety of reviews, some good and some bad. I figure for the price, its was worth a shot, and if they do as well as the positive reviews state, their price and shipping costs beat the other online developing services hands down. I also liked the greater variety of picture sizes they offer.

I ordered mine last night! I hope they are really good! I cant believe how cheap 5x7 prints are! I love adding that size to my scrap books!
Funny thing. I ordered and paid with CC 99cents (that felt odd!) and later that night my CC company called just to make sure it was an authorized card, it was in my spending nature :rotfl:

Got mine yesterday and they look great too! I sort of chuckled when I saw the postage meter stamp said $2.99 and I paid $1.43 for 53 print and shipping. Mine were glossy, but in the future I will try out the matte. Again, thanks for the tip!

I've been using them for about 6 months and have NEVER been unhappy with their quality of photo prints. I love the larger 6 x 8 size for some of my scrapbook pages. I think you'll be very happy with Winkflash!!

FYI - I opened another account in DH's name & a different email and got an additional 50 prints for free,,,,had to enter code a few times before it 'took' but it did work....worth a try :cool1: !

I was really pleased with how quick my photos arrived. I ordered them late Saturday night and they arrived on Wednesday. Wow! I'll use them again.

Missy, I am not sure what you were doing wrong. Maybe try adding one picture at a time? Sometimes adding whole folders can be trickier. Although browsing for each photo can be time consuming. Maybe someone else can give you a better answer.

tried to download my pictures multiple times yesterday. After clicking the start download button nothing would happen. I would go check my album and it was empty. :guilty:

Did this happen to anyone else?

MissyNOPE!!!
But, this is what I did....
Joined and then clicked "add pictures"
got a prompt I believe to name album so I did.....
I do not know how to "Drop and Drag" so I clicked on "Basci Image Upload"
number of images to upload - i picked 10 and then hit browse....I knew where on my computer the pictures were so I just dowloaded them 10 at a time.....Hope this helps...:jester:

From other message boards, the site gets jammed up at busy times. You just might not have been able to access the downloading section properly.

I downloaded at 1am the other nite. The next afternoon, I got an email saying the pics are already on their way! :cheer2:

I ended up "Browsing" and successfully uploaded 10 photos at a time. WInkflash site though works quite differently than Snapfish and Wal-mart which I have uploaded to many times (and much more easily too!).

It's not intuitive that "Edit Image" button etc. leads to where you enter the coupon and specify type of photos etc. I had to e-mail about not seeing the Coupon entry space to get my discount applied to my order. Many sites like this put the coupon box on the final total page so I was baffled when I got to the Checkout page and it wasn't there but it was too late to go back!! Poor design features. I will have to see how the photos come out before I ever go back to this site.

Shouldn't be complaining I guess but it really bothered me since I order things online all the time.

I wish I took advantage of this deal, but I just had a very positive experience with Winkflash - I had them send me a blank CD, I burned the pics to the CD, and mailed it back (postage paid), and received my prints about a week later. Good quality, and you can't beat the price!!!

I tried winkflash after reading about it on the DIS board and I used the 50 free pictures code on Thursday night March 3 (late). Received my photos in today's mail...MOnday march 7. They look like nice photos. Great photos for just paying the 99 cents s/h! They are all of my kids and the tend to wear bright colors and the colors on the photos came out great. I will use them again. :wave2:

alright, i have to ask, cuz i've been reading and no one else has commented on this so maybe it's just me......

when you all ordered your pics from winkflash, did you edit them after you uploaded them? or did you just upload then order?

i ask because i just uploaded then ordered, without editing any of them. but i notice that some pics are cropped, which is so annoying! like my mom lost the tip of her head and her dog lost the tip of her nose (2 separate pics). these pics came straight from my camera, so I hadn't edited them at any time. now I'm wondering if I should have edited the pics while in Winkflash to correct the 'mistake'. but geez, to edit each of the 50 pics would have taken forever! but is this what you all did?

otherwise the picture quality is great with vivid colors

guess I'm the only one who wasn't overly thrilled with wink flash. :guilty: I must just be spoiled with the kodak picture maker... I ordered pictures and they took forever to get here and then they just weren't that great. (of course, they were free so I can't complain much) :) maggie

Maggie I think it is because you got glossy. Next time ask for matte. The matte finish is actual similar to the kodak picture maker.

Were you able to use the same credit card? My sis wants some repros of the pics sent to me a couple of days ago. :) Being computer illiterate, it's easier if I order them. :)

You can do that, you just have to use a different e-mail address. I did it for my mom. I just used her e-mail address and had them shipped to her. I used the same credit card for hers as I did for mine and it was fine.

Waking up this thread, I ordered some photos from Winkflash last night and did not check glossy or matte, so I'm assuming they will come glossy. Will these be similar to Walmart digital photos, if so then it's a good deal for .99 cents. Just wondering.

Isn't it crazy the difference b/t matte and glossy? I've always ordered matte and once forgot to check it and the glossy pictures were horrible quality. I love winkflash! I have saved sooooooooooooooooooooooooo much money on film and developing since i went digital and started using winkflash.

Just ordered!! WOW the pics download (?upload?) onto that site FAST!!! I guess the cable modem helps out too, but it takes A LOT longer on Imagestation!!! Thanks for "waking up this thread". :banana:
