After our week long stay in Orlando, we are going to stay a week in St. Augustine. Marineland is near there. I'm wondering if we should skip going to Seaworld and use that day as another Disney day instead -- then maybe go to Marineland while we're at the beach.
Anyone been to both parks? Is Seaworld that much better?

Difference between the 2 which I might be stating kind of harshly is Marineland is some tanks with dolphins where Sea world is a whole park full of entertainment. Both stress conservation of marinelife.
Marineland is trying to make a go of it. It is an older park. Right now I think it is still closed for repairs needed after the hurricanes and just because of its age. I think there are only about 10 -12 dolphins at the park. I read somewhere that it should reopen early summer.

The difference between Marineland and SeaWorld is like the difference between a flea circus and AK. No comparison.
