There have been a couple of threads here about people looking for fanny packs for kids. I was in the same boat, not able to find anything decent for our 3 kids for our trip in September. Seems like Fanny packs are not in style any more.

Anyway, I just came across a good deal on these packs at www.campmore.com. Search for fanny packs and you'll find several 'hot deals' on them. The cheapest is by Jansport, a pretty good name in day packs, and is only $9. It's a small adult pack that seems like it would be about the right size for a older child, maybe with a little adjustment to the strap. I'll post back when ours arrive, and let people know how they work.

Hope this helps someone!

I found fanny packs for the kids....
At the Christmas Tree Shop. They were $4.99, and have a water bottle attached. Can't beat the price...and my nephews and niece will not be fighting over colors...I got them each a red one...seems that someone always wants the color the other has! There were also some for $3.99 but did not have as roomy a pouch...I have made them autograph books and they fit perfectly! MaryAunt ;)
