I'd like to get my daughters some pins to trade. How much are the pins at the outlet? Would it be cheaper to find a cheap lot on ebay? I've never been to the outlet, and really don't know how I'd get there, but if they are cheap I might find a way. Thanks.

People have reported getting pins for around $3 at the outlet- some people on these boards ordered them by phone, if I recall correctly. When I went to the Belz outlets most pins were regular price. They only had 2 or 3 designs that were marked down.
They had lots of other great deals though.

I just got back from Orlando this morning. It was a business trip not a Disney trip so I made time to go to the outlet malls for the first time. Now I'm kicking myself for not going sooner! They had lots of pins for $2.99 and $3.99 but I was surprised at how many pins they were selling at regular park prices. I guess everything isn't outlet priced.

Thanks. I guess I'll probably look for them on ebay. I've seen lots go for cheaper.

BTW, if you look at the picture of your children it looks like Mickey's head. The two on the sides have dark hair, and you only see the face of the one in the middle. Pretty cute.

I finally dragged my ds to the belz outlet stores this past summer and they had no cheap pins. Everything was regular priced. If you want to buy bulk pins go to ebay and find the seller "harval1" or email him at harval@webtv.net. I bought a lot from him and they ended up being about $2.50 a piece. Very good pins to trade.

Guess it's hit or miss because both outlet stores in the Belz Mall had lots to choose from for $2.99 over the weekend.

As a veteran of looking for pin lots for my kids & I for DW trading, I can tell you that it's very common for pin lots on Ebay to average out to approx $3.00 per pin. Obviously if the lot consists of higher-end pins, it'll be higher. But generally, it's not that difficult to find $3.00 pins in lots on Ebay.

Disneystore online usually has a pin sale around this time of year. Keep your eyes out for it. In the past I was able to pick up a lot of "traders" for around $2- including shipping! I am waiting to see if the new DisneyDirect site will do the same.

DS has been collecting pins since 1999. We feel we are doing well if we get pins for around $3. Years ago we use to get them from cheappins.com. But in recent years, they have stopped carrying Disney pins and have centered on Olympic pins. They are still a good source for pin bags and pin locks. Usually we purchase our pins on ebay. Once I purchased pins from a selling board on Dizpins. With ebay and Dizpins, you can check a person's references.
