We like to go to disney the week before Easter. This last April we paid a discounted rate of $214 round trip verses what I'm being quoted now by Continental of over $400 and more. I like to fly Continental because of frequent flier mileage, but Delta has discounted rates out already for March (Easter is 3/31). We fly from Newark, NJ. I was worried also about the labor problems Delta had this year. Any thoughts? Should I book Delta now or wait it out a bit? Thanks, Carolyn ps. there are also 7 of us going.

We are in a similar situation, only out of Rochester, NY. The flights rarely change here, but I'm ever optimistic. We are going to WDW the last weekend in April, so it will be after easter break. I also am wondering if I should book now, or wait until Jan or Feb (hopefully for a better rate). I've been looking back through some of the archives from this past year ( jan and Feb), and the rates did seem a bit lower than the price I'm quoted of $190. I'd like atleast $150 (with 5 of us going, it's a substantial savings). But, maybe I should just bite the bullet and do it. Atleast I'll know that I'm getting the times/dates I want this way. However, in your situation, with $400 flights, I'd definitely wait til the time gets closer--if history repeats itself, they will go down, especially in light of the economic forecast. I think you're just as safe booking Delta as anyone else, this far out--its a crap shoot--anybody can have labor problems or threaten to strike, there's no way of knowing just when that will happen.

thanks Katefromny. It is Delta Express that I'm getting the low rates from. Are they just as good? Carolyn
