Is there somewhere I can get chocolate covered strawberries when we stay at SSR for our anniversary trip in May?

I don't think so. The strawberries we have ordered always come from resorts that have In Room dining. Since SSR does not have in room dining I am not sure you can ordered them. You might call and ask, not sure if there is a place at Downtown Disney.

I am SURE the "candy" place in DTD has them (the one that makes fudge and cakes, and handmade candy). We bought them there once. The Ghiradelli shop might have them, too.

A few yrs back I had the choch. covered strawberries (the ones they make up to look like tuxedos) with a chocholate Mickey delivered to our room at OKW. It was VERY expensive but I was looking to do something special for my mom for her birthday...we stayed in a GV and had our whole family with us that trip. Anyway, it took some calling around but it can be done. I think I had called OKW front desk directly before leaving home and they ended up hooking me up with the YC ...apparently that is where they come from. But in any case, they pretty much will do almost anything if your willing to pay dearly for it. When all was said and done I think it ended up costing around $50 so I'm sure if you can get them at DTD it would be much less $$ but just for an FYI, you can have it done;)
