We will be going to WDW in May. My DH and I decided to buy AP's for christmas. Well there I was this morning checking for codes for our May trip :rolleyes1 the next thing I knew I was on the Delta web site. Guess what the had round trip/non stop from LGA-MCO $135pp :earseek: I quickly told my DH. The next thing was even more surprising........ Dh said and I quote "what are you waiting for book it. We will never see that again". Could you imagine the man who thinks I'm nuts for my devotion to the DIS. So there you have it. We will be going to Disney in May and December. What my DH doesn't know is we are going away for long weekend in Jan for our 10year anniv w/out kids  and you guessed it I was hoping to Disney. Do you think I'm crazy? I keep saying I'm just trying to get my AP's worth. :rotfl: :teeth:

You are so lucky.

Be sure to buy a DDE card for food discount. $50 with your AP. It will be so worth it for. you.

I can't wait either. We have our family vacation planned for May, but I miss it so bad, that I'm organizing a youth trip for October during their fall break. Looking at taking 30 high school kids so that I can take my little boy back. He loves WDW!

Has anyone notice how you plan differently depending on the time of year?

Well, the real reason that I'm taking the other kids is because I'm a youth worker. If I take other kids with some type of edcuational program, work pays for me to go. So it doesn't cost me anything!

As a bonus, I just got registered as an indpendent home based travel agent. I earn commissions on the rooms, tickets, etc of the others that I take, There's my spending money!

Last, since I run the entire trip through my Disney Visa Card, (the kids pay one registration fee, and I pay everything with my card), I earn reward dollars!

Yeepee!

We just booked another trip in Nov. I saw that airfare from JFK to MCO was only $59 each way :sunny: :Pinkbounc . We still have a trip to go in March.

I was there in Dec/Jan (camping), going in Feb (cabin), Mar/Apr (camping) and will be back in June for 7 weeks (camping)! The only month I will not be in Disney from Jan to July is May and hubby refuses for me to be able to book a trip in May :teeth: . We are also going in Nov and Dec. See, you are not the only crazy one! We are, however, lucky that we can drive and don't have to book flights. (would be hard to get the camper hooked up to the back of the plane) :rotfl: :rotfl: :earseek:

I have done the same thing. I was just merrily planning our August trip when I looked at our school calendar for next Xmas and thought wow since we get our for Xmas break on a Wednesday, I could take 3 days off and spend the week before Xmas at Disney. I then thought DD2 will still be free, since she turns three while we are down there. Well, once I convinced DH that it could be done, even though I haven't even made the August trip yet, it was all set. Right now, I have the airfare for December and a room booked at POP with AAA rate.

fun & fancy free,

That isn't strange at all. I haven't been to WDW in 4 years, and haven't gone on my Feb trip yet, but already have my airfare taken care of for my May. I figure since I am getting an AP why not make the most of it.

I usually wait until the last day of my current trip before I begin planning the next one. Your way sounds better.

I just did this yesterday too! I was looking at the school calendar, trying to figure out how to squeeze another trip in on our FL Res Seasonal APs, and realized that we could go from 12/16-12/23, before the blackout period starts over the holidays. We'll use my husband's Am Ex Membership Rewards points to pay for the Swan for a week! (I did have to agree to visit my in-laws for Christmas after the end of the Disney trip to entice my DH to go along with it, but they're really nice, so it'll be fine)! Now, I have to start socking money away for all of the food we'll be eating, and the rental cars! :earsboy:
