Have any of you on an "adults only" trip asked to ride in front of the monorail? I'm going with my sister and I was thinking of asking on the TTC to Epcot run if we could/should ask to ride in the front??? I didn't know if this was reserved for only families w/kids? I'd be asking to do this in mid/late afternoon, not rush hour in am. What do you think?
This is a really cool experience! On four separate occasions I have gotten to do this - twice with my sister and twice with my husband. We never had any kids with us. Just ask. You will have better luck if you try at a less busy time of day. We even got the little co-pilots certificates!

I've never done it, but I certainly am planning on it this trip! If I get any funny looks or hassle, I'll just remind them that I'm a 37 year old kid! :p I really do want to do this at least once in my lifetime. In fact, it's on my list of possible things to do on our first night there!
Good Luck!

Sure, we do it all the time and we have no children. Last time we did it we
got on at the Contemporary and rode to the GF, we had to get out of the
first car, and transfer to another car because there were hotel guests
at the GF that wanted to ride up front then we continued our journey to the
Magic Kingdom. That is a new policy, but it works for us.
Have fun.

Yep, last August. It had been years since I had ridden up front so I just asked. The CM said no problem. Rode from the Poly to MK. It was great!

DH & I are just big kids. Not having any little ones doesn't stop us from riding in the front. We usually ask very late at night when the monorail is almost empty and it's always been magical!
