I ordered 3 guides from Amazon on 1/21.
They still have not even been shipped yet.
The estimated delivery date is 2/19 to 3/11 Good thing my trip isn't til Sept.
I'm not sure which one is the hold up, but wanted to let those of you who are thinking of ordering and ordering on amazon about it.

Amazon might not have a large demand for the titles you are ordering, so they don't keep them in stock. A large number of publishers take 3+ weeks from when they receive the order to when they dispatch the items.
(I work for a publisher -- Amazon shows all of our titles on their website but they don't usually keep them in stock).

I also ordered a couple of books. Birnbaum's and Passporter. I opted for the cheap shipping and that means you have to wait until both are available to ship together ... Passporter isn't available until mid March (not sure if it's even out yet?). Anyway, Amazon did actually send me Birnbaums after a week or so for no additional charge. I thought that was good customer service.

The balance on my order qualified for the "free shipping", but they said you then need to add 3-5 days to the normal shipping time.~:)~

What did you order? I know I've gotten the Unofficial Guide to WDW from them with no trouble, in the past. I also ordered the Unofficial Guide to DL, as well as two other DL books last week. They have been shipped and I expect to receive them this week. So, was it a WDW or DL guide you ordered or something more unusual? ...................P

I ordered the Passporter, the Unofficial guide and the birnbaum's. I don't know where it tells me which one is holding up the works, but I got a friend's birnbaum's 2004 and so I decided to cancel the 2005 version. But it still says I won't get them til late Feb. early March.
Thanks for all the help. I love this board!

It's the Passporter. Shipping delays!
