Hi everyone,

I am always on the website, but never in this forum. I am ready to join.

I just had my third baby and I am ready to loose the 50 pounds I can't seem to shed. For some reason, my first two were not this difficult.

Anyway, Instead of being discouraged about not losing my weight fast enough, I am looking for new friends for support.

I just set my new goals for the half marathon in January 2006. Instead on focusing on loosing weight, I am focusing on training for this marathon. Along the way, I am hoping to lose my extra baggage.

I can offer some knowledge. Although I am not one, I am around personal trainers everyday in my job. I work for a Dr. that writes books and articles about nutrition and excercise, and I help with his research. After 4 years working for him, I've picked up a thing or two.

I am really looking for a support group. I would love it if I could find some one to keep in contact with at least once a week, and eventually meet in January 2006 for the half marathon. Anyone up for this?

I am a extremely motivated young mother of three who is anxious to take back my body, my mind, and myself. There is nothing more motivating than a trip to WDW. Anyone on board with me? :cheer2:

Hi Mel,

I can't find the thread you just sent me. Help. I clicked on it, and it said the page won't open. How do I get to it?

Hi secox28!
You and I are doing the same thing! Just wanted to say good luck and I know you will do great! Just imagine your three little ones cheering you on as you cross the finish line!! My DH said "A marathon? But you don't like to exercise and you hate running" and I said "I know! That's the beauty of it! This way I get a a trip to Disney to motivate me!" And I have been doing it! I have been at it for two weeks straight - I can hardly believe it! Sending you best wishes! Here are those links:

Hi there! I just want welcome you and encourage you to join in the weekly marathon threads. You will certainly find a ton of encouragement and info as well as provide a lot of info. You can do this for sure. You will be so glad you did when you go walking around WDW with that medal around your neck. It is the greatest adventure. The journey has begun. Good luck with your training and see you on the thread.

btw, I'm in Broadview Heights...almolst neighbors. I do a majority of my walking on the Towpath, maybe see ya there sometime.

Lily,

Did you happen to notice the Bee's 5k cross-country classic? It's Sat. June 18 in Broadview Hts school system. I think I may attend. It might be a good practice!

secoxI did see that. I do not know anything about that event. I thought it might be interesting though. I am doing Relay for Life event at the HS there that weekend. I thought I would be too exhausted to play.

Welcome to WISH Secox! If you are looking for new friends and support, you have definitely come to the right place. I can so relate to how you feel right now. I started WISHing about 2 months before I found out I was preg. I was doing really well too. But now that I am preg., I of course am gaining weight instead of losing. No biggie. Baby's health is my #1 priority. I am due May 1 and am having a little girl (our 1st child). I plan to get back on track as soon as the doc gives the okay after the birth. I still keep a journal on here keeping up with my prego adventures. I can't wait until I can start WISHing and journaling about losing weight again. So, that is how I feel I can relate to you. Good luck with your goals! :sunny:
