Driving ranges?

Has anyone ever used just the driving ranges at any of the Disney Golf courses? My DH and I will be staying on site later this month and don't want to lug our clubs on the plane and won't really have a day to play a full round. I'm wondering if we'd be able to rent a few clubs and just enjoy a driving range. We'd like to see the courses and maybe get a drink at the clubhouse.

I know that DH used the driving range at Osprey last year in the AM. I think he went in to get some range balls, and the CM loaded him up with more than he expected. He was very happy!
