We're heading to Disney in August, and we will need 3 adult tickets and 1 child tickets. I didn't feel that AAA, had what I wanted (they only offer 4 day park hopper), any recommendations on how to buy discounted tickets that are not used. For the four of us via the disney website, we talking a little under $1000, not including everything else.....UGH, but I still can't wait to go.

What kind of tickets are you looking for? Number of days? Hopping or not? Expiry or non-expiry? Magic Plus or not? It will make it easier to direct you to the best price if you give us a specific ticket type.
If you would rather do the research yourself, check out the thread that BethR started. Let's Make a List of Ticket Discounters (http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=731921) . There's a growing list of ticket discounters on that thread.

I used Discount Orlando Vacations back in December for the old style hopper passes. They do sell the new MYW passes, although I'm not sure how their prices compare to others. I was satisfied with their service and would use them again. If you go to their site, sign up for their newsletter and they will keep you updated with any sales they may be running.

Maybe a silly question but... Why would you buy a ticket w/ no expiration if you know when planning to travel to WDW? I mean, if they expire 14 days after 1st day of use wouldnt you use it upduring vacation time? I know that is confusing sorry. Maybe for frequent park visitors?

I noticed that online, the AAA site only offered a 4 or 5-day Hopper pass. However, when I called their toll-free number, the agent was able to get a discounted rate for a 7-day Hopper Pass for me. Perhaps you can try calling?

We took a trip to WDW and my back went out while we were there. There was no way I could walk so I stayed in the hotel while DH took the kids to the parks. Now, because of the no-expiration, I can still use that ticket on our next trip. You just never know what will happen. But, if I understand correctly, you can always upgrade a MYW ticket to include non-expiration at a customer service counter? I plan to only buy hoppers that expire...if something happens, we'll add the option for non-expiration.

I know people are listing prices they are finding at different places for some discounts on tickets for WDW; however, have you actually puchased from them? Are they reliable? I'd hate to spend the money on such a good deal, only to find out it's not valid when I get down to WDW.
How can these places discount the tickets? Does anyone know?
Thanks for your info!
