We're headed to D-land for 4 nights at the end of April. There will be 5 adults and 5 kids (one is 2 yrs old, the rest are older). We're trying to get this as inexpensive as possible (5 of the people are traveling from Germany and are on a tight budget!), but want to stay somewhere within 2 blocks of the park, and somewhere clean!
Would you try to book a suite , and if so where, or would 3 hotel rooms be the way to go? I don't know if a suite would end up saving any money - from what I can see - we'd need a suite and another room (max occupancy is 6-8 in the suites I've seen).
I've never traveled and planned for so many people, and any help would be great! Thank you! :earboy2:

A good budget hotel for suites would be Raffles, which offers a simple continental breakfast. However, I would just stay at Ramada Inn Maingate in 2 rooms - that way you won't have to worry about getting everyone on a shuttle - you could just walk to your room - also offers a simple continental breakfast.

If your budget can accommodate, I would try 2 mini-suites at BW Park Place Inn, or 2 standard rooms -- it's really close to the parks' entrances, and your group will have more flexibility in coming and going.

I love Germany! (I was just talking about it to a coworker) What part are they from?

You can also look at the Residence Inn, which offers full breakfasts, and you can factor in price of meals with that option - there are two of them, and Residence Inn Resort area has a complimentary shuttle... the only thing I would worry about there, is that if the shuttle is full, then your party would have to split up.
