My parents are coming with us to WDW this Fall, and we want to add one of them as an additional driver on whatever rental car we get.
I wasn't able to find out on National's web site if they charge for additional drivers, and if so how much. Does anyone know?

I looked there already, here's what it says:
Additional Authorized Drivers
All additional drivers must meet ALL rental qualifications in regard to age, credit card, and driving record as well as all other standard rental qualifications.
Must appear at the rental counter with the primary renter.
Must present a valid driver's license.
Must sign the rental agreement.
Must present an acceptable credit card in his/her own name.
Nothing about the cost, if any.
They just started charging. I believe it is $6.00. However if you are an Emerald Club member there is no charge for your spouse.

I just spoke with a National Customer Serv Rep last week and she told me it was $5/day to add an additional driver. I'm renting a car in my name 'cause I've got the DC card, but was hoping to let my sister drive me around. I guess I'll deal with driving myself as I don't have my DH along on this trip to chauffer me!
