Anyone have this kind of problem on the weekend? I forget to eat on the weekend!!! I have a really hard time getting my points in on the weekends. I don't get my water in either, but I am more concerned about not getting my points in. Lots of times I don't even come close. We are always running around on the weekends, and I don't even think about it! Help?? Anyone??

I don't think I've EVER missed a meal (and it shows)!!! I think I could eat in my sleep... ;)

Sort of.

If find that I do much better with my food intake on the weekends. I am hungry, but I am usually keeping so busy doing chores that I can push it out of my mind. Sometimes I wait too long and end up with a headache and I feel dizzy. I'm not doing WW, so the point thing doesn't bother me.

Now, during the work week, when I bored in my cubicle, all I can think about is my next meal or snack and I swear, I take in and additional 200 calories during the week days.

Just the opposite here. I can really blow a weekend all to heck by eating!!! SO is home and for him the weekends are his cheat days. So that really presents a challenge for me. So far, so good though. Also, it seems that the weekends are when we usally go out to eat with friends and family. SBD does seem to help with that though. Many times we end up at a steak joint and I can find something I can eat and stay OP.

I too am one to nevermiss a meal!!

I do have trouble getting my water in on the weekends, so I usually have 2 large bottles that I know I need to finish each day. I try to finish them not too close to bedtime otherwise I'll have to get up and interrupt my sleep.

I don't have trouble with the eating on the weekends. I find myself having trouble getting breakfast in during the week and when I'm really busy I have trouble with lunch. I am going to really be working on getting my breakfast in each day because I truly know how important it is. I expect my children to eat breakfast, so I need to be an example for them.

If the problem is that you're not thinking to eat, you need to think for yourself in advance. Midweek, plan your weekend meals. Thursday or Friday, cook or prepare them, and put them in the fridge. You will still have to think to get them, but the bulk of the work is done.

If THAT won't work, keep higher-point snacks around the house. Nature's Valley Granola bars are VERY high in points, but they're made from whole grains. Keep some cheese on hand. At 3 points an ounce, you're getting in a good number of points, and filling a dairy requirement. Another good dairy snack is full calorie/fat yogurt.

Try to get "good" points in. (Foods that are high in points, but still serve some nutritional value - I'm not saying to keep a stash of oreos.....don't I wish...)
