Yet another Disney Visa Question.....please

Does anyone know how long it takes to receive the $50 disney dollars when you start the disney visa? I received the visa and it's financial info, but no disney dollars. Do they come in a separate envelope, or is it a voucher, or do i first need to use the visa before they're sent? There was absolutely no mention of it in the info i received.

I'm not 100% sure because although I have the Disney Visa I didn't get the $50. But I think I read somewhere that after you make the first purchase you would get the $50 reward although I bet it takes at least one billing cyle to show up. Hopefully someone who has gotten it can confirm. :confused3

The $50 should appear on your first statement after you use the card (but it may take a couple of billing cycles -- it took mine three cycles and a few calls to BankOne to resolve the problem, but maybe you'll have better luck). You won't be receiving actual "disney dollars" like you can buy at the disney store. What you're getting is $50 rewards dollars (which are the same as what you earn with your purchases when you use the card) that you can then transfer to a rewards card and spend at Disney.

I believe you have to call them and request that they be sent to you. Or, if you manage the account through the website, you can request them that way as well. Make sure to allow a few weeks to actually receive the rewards card...
