Limit FOTL in July???

We are trying to plan a July visit and would like to stay onsight, mainly for the FOTL perk. However, I have heard that this benefit could be limited during busy times of the year. We were thinking about going July 10 & 11 - is that a very busy time? Also, have any of you ever had limited FOLT access? I'd be very upset if we paid all that money and were not able to have this fantastic perk.

We were there last July when the FOTL was supposedly limited. We were told that we could use our room keys once on each ride before 3:00 PM and after that it was unlimited. It was rarely enforced. I rode the Hulk over and over using my room key. The only place they scanned was the Mummy. They scanned occasionally at Spider Man, but did not stop us from riding again before 3 PM. We did not find it inconvenient at all. We went to the parks early, used our FOTL for the rides and shows, had lunch and then usually took a break at the pool because it's so hot in July. The parks are open late, so you have many hours of unlimited FOTL.

I'm going July 6-8 because of the fireworks. The parks stay open until 10pm, so we'll visit early in the morning, go back to the room to rest, then come back at night. I'm not worried about them limiting FOTL. They have to do something to help the crowds from 11am to 3pm when it's the most busy time of the day. That's the time of the day you want to eat an early lunch and get out of the heat.

Does anybody know the exact dates they limit the FOTL service for onsite guests? Will it be limited at the beginning of August (1st - 5th)?

odds are yes. it's being used during peak times.

Remember, that just because they limit FOTL does not mean you can not use it. It only means you can not use it repeatedly on the same ride until after 3:00. You can use it once on every ride until 3:00. It is still a great help!!!

I AGREE! We had unlimited use of FOTL last year but we wanted to try a lot of things so we never did the same ride twice before 3Pm, by 4 or 5 we had started to re-do rides so it worked out fine. Go and enjoy everything and come back in the later afternoon or night to enjoy your favorites, believe me it works out fine. :teeth:
