We would like to decorate our kids bathroom in Mickey decor. I found some red Mickey towels at the outlet when we were at WDW and that got me inspired to go forward. Our bathroom is already painted a bright yellow. I was thinking of hanging a black shower curtain and stamp Mickey ears on it. We are also DVC members and own at Boardwalk. I have a print of Boardwalk that I will hang in there also.
Does anybody have any suggestions?

I think it is Home Depot that carries disney stuff. How about getting some stencils and painting on the walls. Or see if you can find mickey shapes and sponge painting them on the walls.

I used the Mickey head sponge that I bought at WDW to stamp my Mickeys on the batheroom wall. It looked so good, that my DD (12 at the time) did her own bedroom. :)

Good Luck with decorating your bathroom. I am sure the kids will like their disney bathroom. You might even allow the kids to help as that will be a fun family activity. ::MickeyMo

I believe the Disney Store had some bathroom accessories of mickey - toothbrush holder, soap dish, etc. You could maybe get one or two of these. Or get a plain white set and stamp on it.

We have a small bathroom done in Mickey. Home Depot has border paper and sponges to paint Mickey heads. I also have photos from various WDW trips in Mickey frames on the vanity and on the walls. I got towels, rug, soap dish and dispenser, cup, wastebasket, drawer pulls, robe hook in Mickey head design at Disney at Home store in DD. Unfortunately that store is closed, at least for the time being, so the merchandise is spread all over the place, at resort gift stores, park stores and outlet stores. I know there is a central Disney merchandise phone # to call (can't find it now, someone please help) and they could help you locate items. I had lots of fun doing this and am always on the lookout for new additions (like stuff I found to decorate during Christmas). Good luck!

Next time you are at disney...save a few of the room soaps, shampoos etc (use yours, and bring theirs home) to add to the Disney theme.

Also the soap shop (can't think of name) in DD has red soap with black and white Mickey heads. It lasts a long time.

That would be Basin, and it's kind of tucked away behind the building with Guest Services in it (next to Arribas Bros?) so it's easy to miss.
They actually have 2 versions of the Mickey-head soap (or did when I was there last October) - one that is red with white and black heads and smells lemony, and the other that is a cream colour with red and black mickey heads in it that is a vanilla-y scent.

I just finished doing my kids bathroom in a Disney theme. I think the total I spent came in just around $130, although my math skills are not so good. I could be off.
I had two rolls of self stick border that I found a year ago in a thrift store, 99 cents each. It has Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy each in their own square. The colors are kind of bright. Yellow, red, green and a turquoisy blue . So I let the kids choose paint colors based off of those. They chose a turquoise blue, Buzz Blaster Blue from Home Depot. I picked a trim color that is white with a tint of blue called Glacier. The door, trim and cabinet all got painted the white color.
DH picked up some Mickey stamps from Home Depot for me, Mickey glove, Mickey icon, and the castle. I stamped them on the top and bottom of the door, and at the top of the cabinet door. Didn't want to overkill the theme.
Total for paint was $35.
Bought towels at Target when they were on sale. I got yellow, blue and pink. They look great against the wall color.
For art on the walls, I framed some lithos we got from DVD presales. Frames I found at Michaels 50% off, $5 a piece for four. Kids chose one each to frame from Lilo and Stitch, Monsters Inc., Beauty and the Beast and Finding Nemo.
I also framed some autographed character pics the kids got for their birthdays. Pluto and Belle, two frames $5 a piece.
Shower curtain was $15 from Target. It is clear with colored circles on it.
Finally for some much needed storage, I bought an over the toilet cabinet from Target. On sale it was $25.
We have some of the Mickey soap from Basin. I will need to stock up on our next trip. It smells so yummy.
I will also be looking for drawer pulls.
Our bathroom turned out great, the kids love it and the pics are great reminders of our trips.
Good luck on your project!

Wow! Sounds like you put together an amazing bathroom for an amazing budget! Your ideas are very clever. I agree about the Mickey soap from Basin. It does smell yummy! We got 10% off with an AP discount at the Basin store, so ask when you go, they may still be giving it.

They were metal and very pretty - although not Mickey, I LOVED the Tinkerbelle one!

Recently redid our bathroom in Disney. I framed postcards that I've been picking up when we are at WDW. Also have lithos from presale movies and I cross-stitched the castle with Tink and had it framed. The shower curtain is navy with silver and gold stars and also have a Tink shower curtain for a change of pace. I also save the catalog covers and framed some of them and change them with the seasons and holidays. I also picked up Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Pooh hardward for the vanity handles and a hand towel from Tower of Terror. Next trip I want to get a complete set of towels. Not everyone understands our bathroom but we enjoy it!

Hi  You all have great ideas, now we all want to see some pictures. I am in the planning of doing a Disney theme Spare/scrapbooking room. I found a nice red fleece throw for $5.00, then off to Home Depot for some ideas and brought home some pamphlets Now to do a clean sweep of our home to find all the items once bought in Orlando.

Thank you all for such wonderful ideas! I figured that the best place to get ideas would be here!! We all love the mouse and we all understand each other!!
I will be spending the next few weeks collecting all the decor and then putting it together!
KEEP THE IDEAS COMING!!

You could always find photos of disney things online and print them out and frame them? Or send the file to an online photo company and frame it. Use free disney clipart, print it or use it to make a sign... example... put some of the kids favorite characters around their names like... so and so bathroom... print and frame. Cheap ways to fill the walls.

You might want to check out Kmart. My SIL got me a tinkerbell bath set from there at Christmas. I have also found that you can find almost anything on ebay.

Also if you find vinyl clings, those are good for tiles in the tub or mirror
