Canadian DVC question

Hi we reside in Canada and are wondering which you would recomend buying . We want a small starter package of 150 points but are having a hard time finding any info on financing for Canadians other than Disney directly. Also Disney's financing rate seems to be quite reasonable any and all help would be appreciated

We own at BWV and just closed at WLV and the later was done completely over the
phone with our guide Linda. The only other financing is cash through your bank.
You will need a credit card to have monthly payments put on and your yearly dues if you
go through Disney. We live close to the boarder and I work in the US so it isn't hard for us
with the exchange rate.:pinkbounc :bounce:

I called some of the banks in the states as we have friends in Buffalo and in Ohio and they said we could open an account there even with a canadian address. I talked to Disney and they said all they need is to be able to draw your monthly payment and dues if you want them to. So we are strongly considering that avenue. I was just wondering if any of the resale places offer financing.

Yes, the resale brokers can suggest finance options, but they are NOT very competitive with the DVC finance package.

Many have found suitable finacing thru home equity loans or even personal loans with their home bank.

Thank you for the info on the financing options I think at this point our best bet is through Disney we are going to set everything up in Dec while we are there.
