Good morning, 6am and I actually got a workout in before DS woke up. It was total muscle shaping with Stephanie Corley from the 3rd firm set with the incline step. It's a really good workout about 45 minutes. So it's just long enough that when your about to give in it ends. OK my one complaint. We thought Nancy Tucker was thin oh no Pam Merriwhether (sp?) is so thin, I think she looks thinner than Nancy because her muscles are way more defined. It's actually rather distracting. Otherwise I'm very happy with the new tapes as I had not realized how much I needed to add new tapes to give me a jump. See you guys later.

Today was fat blasting cardio and express cardio blast. I did this as a substitute for nancy's Calorie killer that she had in her rotation.

S&K's Mom, I agree, pam is really think, so is Christa. I tend to like the way Lisa and Stephanie looks, oh yeah, Allie too!!!

Today was a much needed rest day for me. I still felt like a slacker even though I had worked out 9 days in a row. Tomorrow I'll be Firming again. I keep telling myself I should throw in a run now and then (my exercise of choice before I started Firming), but going out in the rain and cold just doesn't sound appealing.

Good evening Firmies!

I did BSS3 Complete Body Sculpting (my favorite work out) with Christa this morning. Today is official weigh in day and I'm down 1.5 pounds. Yay! That puts me at 185 pounds for the first time in my adult life. Yes, I know each pound I lose puts me at a new low for my adult life but it's just so exciting for me. Thanks so much to each of you for supporting me and being here to keep me accountable with my exercise program.

s&k'smom - I agree with you and Sheree about Pam. She is way too thin and it is distracting to look at her ribs poking out while working out. I also think the outfit she has on is not flattering at all. Did you guys notice Libby's tummy? It's in either body sculpt or muscle shaping but she looks pregnant maybe? I do like the routines though. They are just tough enough but not so tough that I get discouraged. I think Christa is skinny but overall has a nice shape.

Sheree - I'll be doing fat blasting cardio tomorrow which will put me over the top with my 1000 minutes of exercise for January. I'm impressed that you did two cardio work outs in one day. You go girl!

norma - You sound like me. I tend to beat myself up when I take the occasional rest day. I'm trying to learn not to do that to myself. You have to listen to your body and rest when you need to. 9 days of working out in a row is awesome and you should be so proud!

You go Lisa, I'm so proud of you!!!! You don't have long to go before you reach your goal, and when you do, I'll be celebrating right along with you.

Norma, I fell like a slacker too. I wouldn't rest if my body didn't protest when I tried to get in a workout on a rest day. I think that's why I double up on the days when I do work out, kinda trick it ya know.

Oh wow we all do think alike. I thought Libby looked pregnant too, I actually thought she looked fantastic not too thin, I like a woman with a little shape. I thought Pam and Christa were wicked ripped but too thin. But speaking of Pam I did her hips, and thighs tape today with abs from the new set. Holy mother of God it may only be around 40 minutes but man that is a tough tape and being so vain I figured oh I've been firming this will be easy. Wrong this is a short but intense workout definately a good one if you need a bump up. The outfit Pam was wearing and her hair were much more complimentary and I thought she did a good job of giving instructions. Still want to give her a meatloaf/mashed potatos dinner but that's another story.

This morning was Cardio Sculpt. I've decided to increase weights on some of the exercises to see if I can get stronger and a little more sculpted. So I may be a little sore tomorrow.

I did Total Muscle Shaping today. I was supposed to add in Adv. Cardio blast to finish out the Jan. rotation, but just didn't feel up to it. Tomorrow starts a new rotation and it's gonna be another tough one. I did do some of Stephanie's sculpting drills. Walking lunges. Boy, those are no fun, no fun at all. But boy do I think they will work!!! I did them with 12 pound weights as I was afraid to do it with the 15's!

s&k's mom, I know what you mean about that tape. It is one of my favorites! She packs a punch in that tape. My legs are shaking by the time I finish. I love it though. Her other tape that just uses the sculpting stick is really good to.

Norma and Diana, I love that Allie! Hope you girls had a great workout.

Good morning, I got about 25 minutes in of cross trainer upper body. Oh the hair firm instructors had in early 90's! Anyhow I really like this tape (well what I did of it) because it really is total upper body what I especially like is the mixed a lot of ab work in so you don't have to wait until the end to do abs so even getting in a half hour I felt like I got a really good workout. I'll do the other half tomorrow.

I worked out with Christa this morning and more walking lunges and squats. Stephanie has an interesting circuit traing guide, and boy is it hard.

Today was Calorie Killer with Nancy and Workout 3 from Firm Abs. I'm really beginning to appreciate Nancy's cuing. She really is pretty easy to follow most of the time.

Morning, well I got in about 25 minutes of lower body split and yowsa. DS woke up so I'll go back to the other half on Friday and finish upper body split for Thursday. If I get those in I'll take Sat as a rest day as I can feel the soreness in my muscles but in a weird way it feels great as I am making some progress I hope. Oh and I found the perfect bicep workout, carry your 3 year old around the store while she is sleeping. Holy cow the next day my biceps were killing me.

Yesterday was Tae Bo and day 3 of FIRM 5 Day Abs.

Today, I did Total Sculpt- the Abs and did day 4 of FIRM 5 Day Abs.

I took a rest day this morning. I'm so sore and think I worked out about 2 weeks in a row with no break. Yesterday I did Cathe's Basic Step+Body Fusion work out. I did the add on lower body work out and the additional ab work out.

Today was Taebo extreme for me. What a workout. I wanted a long workout rather than the scheduled short firm workout. I hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Good morning, nearly got through Christa's tape which is very good when DS woke up but I feel I got a really good workout. I'm hoping to get some taebo tapes this weekend and a new set of weights to add to my firm rotation. It's gonna be a tough weekend as DH is off and we usually go out for eat or something.

Hi Firmies,

No work out for me yesterday which made me sad and depressed as usual (I know I need a rest day every once in a while). But I was back in the saddle again this morning and riding high with Nancy and Super Cardio Sculpt. I even got up a few minutes early and did the entire 40 minutes. Woohoo!!! I also have been doing some spot measuring of myself and I know I'm down at least a couple of inches. I'll have to do an official measuring session and record my numbers at the mybodycomp site to get the exact figures.

This week I did Super Body Sculpt with Stephanie and I'll probably do that one again tomorrow. I love it and can't believe I didn't really do it last year.

Today will be TM day for me as will Saturday!

Morning, got through the new Lisa Kay tape but boy does it take a few times to learn the new moves with the box. Plus the way my tv room is set up I sometimes have to pause the dvd and move the box around for room. Not much planned for the weekend. I think tomorrow may be a rest day as I'm very, very pmsed and need to have a lazy, sleepy morning. We'll see!

I did the FIRM Super Body Sculpt this morning.

S&K's mom- Was it the one that came in the BSS3 set or her add on cardio. I have the one that came with the set. I'm going to order the last two add on's I don't have this month. The one that came with the set is hard to learn but fun once you get the moves down. I really like that one.

s&k's mom, yes the moves do take some getting used to. It is fun however once you get it. I love doing the abs at the end.

Today was firm abs and I threw in Taebo. I also am pmsing!!! I just want it to hurry up and go away as I feel as lazy as I don't know what.........

Have a great day everyone. Tomorrow is a rest day on the firm rotation and since I have worked out straight since last Saturday, I guess I'd better take it (unless in the morning I'm feeling motivated :) )

Today was Super Cardio Sculpt and Upper Body in Super Body Sculpt and Day 5 of FIRM 5 day Abs. Whew! I love these new DVDs!!! :cool1:

I did cardio sculpt yesterday and today is ab sculpt.

I've been MIA the last few days but I'm still keeping up with my workouts. Wednesday was Cardio Sculpt Blaster and part of Ab Sculpt. Thursday I did Total Sculpt. Today was Maximum Cardio Burn - love that Allie!

DS has been home sick all week. Poor baby! I think it's the flu and I'm crossing my fingers that neither Dh nor I get sick.

Hey Mel, the tape is the one that came with the new set plus the bonus one with Pam (you know the one who is actually thinner than Nancy) and I got two others lower and upper cross trainers (early 90's tapes) but really tough.

Me again, had a rest morning, slept until 6am!!! It felt wonderful (I'm usually up at 5am). I guess I didn't realize I needed just to have a fitful sleep. See you guys later.

Norma - I love that comment, it sure does feel good to sweat!

Yesterday I did Super Body Sculpt (upper body and lower body) and this morning I did Fat Blasting Cardio even though I should have done Cathe's Body Fusion. Sigh. I just didn't feel like sweating all THAT much today!
