See my last post below.......I'm looking for some recent stays at the Hawthorn Suites Orlando at Sea World on Westwood Blvd?? Anybody? I've searched out other reviews but it seems they are all at least 3 or 4 months old.
Any new reviews of this place out there??
Thanks,Debbie

Try www.tripadvisor.com
I've found the reviews there to be very recent.

HI Winston,Yes,I did check out TripAdvisor but I was hoping for a review a little more recent than October,2004. Things change so quickly at these places. It looks like it has some fairly decent reviews.I'm not expecting the 'ritz' or anything like that but just clean, basic accommodations.
Oh well, hopefully someone who reads this forum will run across my post and let me know of their experiences...
Thanks,Debbie

We stayed one night a year ago. It was older but for $50 a night you can't complain. We needed just one night and it was fine. Free breakfast in the morning but we were glad to head out to our next location.

Hi,My sister and I just got back from staying at Hawthorn Suites Sea World.
We enjoyed our stay. The location (6435 Westwood Blvd.) was close to everything....restaurants,stores,Sea World,Universal Studios and the Beeline Expressway (airport).
Our 1 Bedroom Suite was clean, spacious and the 2 full size beds were very comfortable! The bedroom was seperate from the Kitchenette/living room area
which we liked alot. We did not use the sleeper sofa or their free shuttle to Disney so we cannot comment on those things.
However, front desk was extremely helpful and housekeeping was excellent!
We left for an hour and a half one morning and when we got back our room was already made up! Wow,were we pleasantly suprised..
They have a nice size heated pool and a 10 person jacuzzi!! They also have a 24 convenient store at the hotel and a free breakfast buffet (small but good).
If your not looking for a 'resort' type place or the 'ritz' then I think anybody would be very happy here.
I'm hoping this review will help someone else out who might be thinking of staying here...
I'd be happy to answer any questions..
Debbie

It just seems so funny to me (not really) how I've been looking and looking for a review on Hawthorn Suites-Sea World for so long and I found nothing until after I came back and posted a great reveiw for them. No more than a week after I posted a review for them on tripadvisor.com another review has posted after mine....a really terrible review! I don't think we were both at the same hotel! I know everyone doesn't see everything the same way but to find every single thing about the hotel horrible (you should read it) seems suspicious to me.
Yes,the hallways were long....everything else was fine.I found nothing like what that poster is stating they found! Could our stays have been that different? And why didn't that poster state the dates of their visit? It could have been years ago......
I just don't get it...
Does anyone else find this totally suspicious???
I don't know,maybe it's just me.
