I heard about this on another site and thought it was interesting. Someone mentioned that they deposited a certain amount in their savings account for every pound of weight they lost. One woman did $1/p/pound, another did $5 as she had less weight to loose.
I thought it was a neat idea and have been reading the budget board post about those ING accounts. That would be neat way to really "earn" some savings!
Anyone here do something like this?

Ok Karen...let me give you my account number. I'm not greedy...I'll take $1/lb and I've lost 4 lbs so far. ;)

I did this when I first started losing weight--I took the money I would have spent on fast food and saved it up. Then when I hit one of my major goals, I'd buy myself a nice treat. I'm wearing my "50-pound" Brighton watch right now :flower:

My Dh came up with something close to that for us this year. There are 4 of us in my family. Every time we exercise for a minimum of 15 minutes each day we add $1/per person and $5 if we all exercise into a pot. The thought is to keep the pot going for the year and then take a family vacation with the extra money we save next year.
