With TicketsRes unable to get WDW tickets right now, I wanted to share my experience with www.floridaorlandotickets.com
After reading about the BONUS 5 day PHP tickets (you get 5 Park Days and FOUR Plus Options) that are on sale there (AND some other on-line ticket dealers) through September, I placed an order with them at 12:30 AM Monday morning. Got the tickets in the mail TODAY! WooHoo!!! I am excited NOW! :D
The price was $245 per adult including tax. Shipping was $7 for the entire order. They also sent a 30 minute AT&T calling card and some maps and other literature. Got ME excited to go!

Just thought that this could help someone. :)

I too just ordered my tix from floridaorlandotickets and am thrilled. They came in 3 days and there was a slight problem with my order. I emailed them about it and they called me before I could sign off the computer! They corrected the problem immediately and sent extra phone cards for the trouble!

BethR, does it say anywhere on the tickets that they contain 4 plus options?

I also used them to buy tickets. It was easy and the tickets came fast. I actually purchased them through Yahoo Shopping and also received shopping points.

Hi Bonnie!

Yep!!! It says 5 Hopper Days and 4 Plus Options! So it looks like everything is A-OK!!!
And there is a number to call if you have any questions about this included in the mailing.
So for anyone who can purchase their tickets now, I would DEFINATELY consider buying these. We will not use all 4 Plusses on this visit - but they will be WAITING for us the next time we get back AND will be be actually saving us MORE money since you KNOW that prices always go UP!
Hope that this helps! :)

Thanks for the feedback. I went to order these on the last day of July and was very happy to see that they extended the offer until the end of September. So, I'm waiting a few days until I hit the next billing cycle for my AMEX card and then I'll place the order. It was such a good deal, but I was a little leary.
I don't even know if we'll get to use the plus options at all on this trips (it's only 3 1/2 days)!! But, who could pass up the bargain -- I did some calculations and to go from 4 day hoppers w/o plus to 5 day hopper plus w/4 options is less than $50 (going from Disney Club discount to floridaorlando)!! That's an additional day in the parks and 4 visits to waterparks for only $50 (the price of a one-day one-park WDW ticket).

BethR
08-03-2001, 01:16 PM
You are so right barbliny! As I was figuring - the plus features are worth about $30 a piece if you use them for the water parks. I would not use it for PI since we can get in there for about $15 with a coupon. So figuring $30 per plus option, you are getting about $170 worth of admissions for $45. (hope that made sense to the REST of you! )
I LOVE getting bargains like this!!! :D

I know this sounds dumb, but I want to make sure!!!

When it says that it ends at the end of SEPTEMBER that means the sell and not the tickets?? Right???

These are Park Hopper Plus Passes. They NEVER expire! :) Until you USE them of course! :D So if you are planning on going any time in the future and have the $$$ to spend now - this would be a very wise way to spend your money!

Hope that this helps! :)

THANKS!!!

I was afraid that since these tickets were bought somewhere other than DISNEY that they would 'expire'.

Also, do you think they will stay on sale until the end of Sept? I would like to wait another week to buy then. I know it says that the sell will end at the end of Sept but I'm wondering if they will run out??? YES!! I'm very parinoid (sp)! This is my first trip to plan and book myself!

THANKS!!

Hi Shari!
I worried too when I purchased them at the end of July. At THAT time the offer only lasted until July 31st. Then the end of the month came and the extended the offer until the end of September. So I think that you are quite safe waiting a few weeks.
Don't be paranoid. Everything will work out fine. And you will have a WONDERFUL time AND you will have saved money too! :D

I can't wait to order them now!!! I'm trying to wait a few days so that I can get enrolled in a rewards program on my gredit card. With all this money I'm putting on my credit card it seems like I shoud be getting some kind of reward for it! *L* <aybe by next year one of us can fly somewhere for free!!!!

Thanks for the resurrance!

I have a stupid question,

Do these tickets ever expire? or are they just like buying from Disney? Say I purchase them now but don't use them until June of 2003 would that be ok?

BethR
08-04-2001, 10:52 PM
Hi wdisneyaholic!

The passes that were sent to me are exactly the same passes that you would get if you would purchase them at a Disney Store, from CRO, or at Disney Guest Services - except that THESE 5 day PHP passes say - "5 Hopper Days / 4 Plus Admissions" (rather than 5 Hopper Days/ 2 Plus Admissions) on them. They will NEVER expire.
I hope that this helps... :)

Can someone help me understand these passes? Where do they come from? I assume they are from disney, but why are they selling at a discounted rate?. Are they 100% legit? I am new at all this.

Toby'sFriend
08-05-2001, 05:18 PM
Hi AdrianB -

Yes these are legitimate tickets. And that is a very good question to ask because there are tons of people and businesses out there that will try to sell you tickets that are not legitimate.

Disney makes large blocks of tickets like this available to AAA, Delta, American Express, and other places that sell travel packages. These agencies buy these tickets at a discount and make a very small profit reselling them to the consumers. These tickets look exactly like the Park Hopper Plus tickets you can buy from Disney, but the price is a little cheaper.

If you look on this website http://www.mousesavers.com -- Mary lists a couple of agencies that sell discounted tickets. You can bet that if **any** of us ever heard of these tickets not working like they should it would be all over the DIS bulletin boards in a SECOND!!!!!

5 day hopper = 5 parks in 5 days or you can hit 2 or 3 parks in one day which is one hopper?? We'll be staying at Shades of Green and I've been looking at just getting the Stars and Stripes because it sounds like the old LOS passes and I don't have to figure anything out. I am not sure I understand the plus features either. Which is included? Is DisneyQuest cuz my boys love videos and they really want to do that plus they want to go to the water parks and I just don't want to be an 'option' short so to speak.

Any info would be helpful. Carla

But, has anyone actually tried to use their tickets to gain admission to a park? I know I am being over cautious -- but, getting the passes are meaningless until you can actually get through the gate. In fact, used passes look identical to new passes.

I plan to use this organization if I can get a few testimonials.

Thanks!

BethR

Please believe me...I am a VERY cautious person and I PREACH caution RELIGIOUSLY on these boards - especially concerning the purchase of Admission Media. I would NEVER purchase used (or UNUSED for that matter) tickets from ANYONE that I did not know or with whom I would have no recourse. I would not purchase anything from E-Bay, in the classified, etc. But FloridaOrlandoTickets is a site VERY MUCH like our own TicketsRes. And since TicketsRes cannot get WDW right now, I have decided to purchase my tickets from this agency. AND if I have trouble using these tickets (which I ABSOLUTELY do not think that I will) I can always call my credit card and have them stop payment to the vendor.
Unfortunately, my word is not going to sufficiently convince some of you. And I have NO PROBLEM with that.
All that I can tell you is that I will report back on my experience with the USE of these tickets after I return August 19. Hopefully that will make some of you feel a bit better. And if it does, you will still have sufficient time to purchase these special 5 day Hopper Plus Passes before the end of September.
But sometimes peace of mind is worth MUCH MORE than the dollars that you will be saving. And then, I would definately suggest that you purchase them DIRECTLY from Disney. You will feel so much better then...

Now about Hopper Plus Tickets for Carla :

A Hopper Day is a day where you can hop to and from ANY of the 4 major parks. Or you can just do ONE park. In a 5 Day Hopper Plus Pass - you get FIVE days to go into and/or hop around the Major Parks. So if on Sunday you go to the MGM for Early Entry and then head out to see the Afternoon Parade at MK and THEN head out to Epcot to catch Illuminations you have used up only ONE Hopper Day. Unused Hopper Days NEVER expire.
Plus Passes are single time admissions to Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach, River Country, Pleasure Island, and Disney's Wide World of Sports (sorry NOT Disney Quest)- you can' t hop with these admissions. So with my 4 Plus Passes I can go to Typhoon Lagoon and Pleasure Island that night and use 2 of my Plus Passes. Unused Plus Passed never expire either.
You can always purchase a separate admission for Disney Quest. You need to price out all options.
I hope that this has helped... :)

Did a search for "Florida Orlando Tickets.net" at the site of the Better Business Bureau (BBB) pf Central Florida on the web and they came up with the following for the above named company:

8/1/2001

"Florida Orlando Tickets.net, PO Box 700426 St Cloud Fl. (888)657-0011- Based on BBB files the company has an unsatisfatory record with the Bureau due to unanswered complaint(s)."

Address and phone number do not match the ones listed on the website offering the discounted Disney tickets so are we talking about the same company, i.e. Florida Orlando Tickets.net?

Hey sometimes the BBB can be a pain for businesses but often they are dead on the money in tracking a company's performance as well as how they respond to customer complaints.

Tankerjo-

floridaorlandotickets.com and floridaorlandotickets.net appear to be one in the same, both domains are registered to the same company...

Central Florida Amusements, Inc
3373 West Vine St - Suite 204
Kissimmee , FL 34741

Upon further review Central Florida Amusements and Florida By Choice inc (are both run out of the same address as the domains listed above) both have a good standing with the BBB

Thanks BethR!

I'm looking forward to reading a complete trip report --- including how well those tickets work!

As for the complaints with the BBB -- I don't know what to tell you. I do know that Mary from the Mousesavers site reports that she has had several people report to her that the Florida Orlando Tickets work quite well -- and I know that alot of people from DIS have purchased from both Florida Orlando Tickets and Ticketmania lately.

I know that Connections has had several customer service complaints lately, and I think that alot of this is mainly due to the way their business is growing so fast with the internet word of mouth. They seem to have a hard time keeping many of their vouchers in stock. I personally decided not to buy from Connections because of problems I had with *another* trial offer subscription company - not anything that they did at all.

as BethR says -- do your research and buy in the matter that makes you feel most comfortable.

Will continue to look into this. Assume this is all on the up & up but would be a real bummer if say a guy was to buy 4 of these little jems, arrive with his loved ones in tow (son & daughter-in-law + the wife) and find their was a problem...........don't ya think?

Does anyone know why ticketmania stopped selling the 5 day hoppers with 4 plus options? They had them for a while and then stopped. They offer free shipping. If they had these 4 plus tickets, I'd order all of my tickets (including Universal and IOA) from them. I think I'll give them a call tomorrow to see what's up.

Disney World 7 Day Park Hopper Plus Pass - 4 Options

Help me find the right page!

Hi yankeerose! WELCOME TO THE DIS! :)

You are correct, other than mentioning it on their Home Page, I cannot see any mention of the particulars of this pass. I can't remember if you must place an order and it shows up there or what. I will give it a try and see what happens. There IS a contact number on the site, so you may want to e-mail them first.

Just went to FloridaOrlandoTickets and now even on the Home Page there is no mention of this special ticket. It WAS there just last night. I wonder if it has been pulled?

Dinsey4us2002 - Disney Quest tickets are available on the site as well. Click on the "Specials" tab - they are offering Front of the Line Passes for Planet Hollywood & $10 in "Orbit Dollars" apparently good at PH.

You guys are quick - so when I order a 5day hopper + will the site indicate that I am actually getting 4+s or do I need to place my order via telephone?

I have a really stupid question...If I buy these tickets (5 day hopper plus)--say we check-in for a 5 NIGHT stay (we will be at WDW for 6 days--can I use one/or more of my features the first afternoon/evening that we are there instead of using 1 of the days for a major park visit?? Do you understand what I mean? We will be at Universal for 2 nights & then to WDW for 5 nights--we were planning on doing a half-day at Universal--then an evening at WDW--but maybe we can get away with a 5 day hopper plus instead of a 6 day hopper plus?! Thanks!

<b>GoofyForDisney</b>
You can use those options at anytime you choose. So -- as long as you *don't* enter the Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, MGM, or Epcot on your first day at Disney - you won't use one of your "Hopper" days and you'll be just fine. Your "Plus" options will get you entrance to the Water Parks, Pleasure Island, and Disney's Wide World of Sports.

I notice that you are staying at the Beach Club. You might even enjoy just checking into your hotel and spending the afternoon at Stormalong Bay -- and then checking out the Boardwalk area in the evening. That wouldn't require any admissions at all!

<b>mom2boys</b> - See my seperate thread about my response from Florida Orlando Tickets. Disney has required that they stop advertising the 5 day Hopper Plus tickets as having 4 options - even though that's what they have. However, any 5 day Hopper Plus ticket bought from them by September 30 will come with 4 options instead of the regular 2.

barbliny
08-09-2001, 09:29 AM
Well, I bit the bullet and ordered my tickets. I had also e-mailed FloridaOrlandoTickets regarding the 4 options disappearing from the site. Received the same response about no longer being able to advertise this.

I read Toby'sFriend's separate response -- a great detailed answer from FOT. I was sick yesterday when these disappeared from the site and am no longer comfortable waiting any more. Quite honestly I am not certain that Disney will continue to sell these tickets to FOT and don't want to miss the boat completely!!! Let's face it Disney changes their mind quite quickly and without warning -- they might decide that this is not a profitable ticket to be providing since it is going outside of the originally intended marketing area. So, they're ordered for our September trip on my AMEX card. I am reasonably certain there should be no problem with these tickets. However, I have the ability to dispute the charges through AMEX if there is.

Toby'sfriend,
Thanks so much for the reply! I needed clarification on that! You're ideas about checking in and using our pool at the hotel sound great! I have a feeling my kids will be wanting to get to one of the parks though! We might just go ahead and get a 6 day hopper pass plus--just for that reason! Have you ever stayed at BC? This is our first time in Orlando. We are so excited! Thanks again!

Received my tickets yesterday. I ordered them when the website no longer mentioned the 4 plus options on the 5-day hopper. Sure enuf... the tickets say "5 Day Hopper with 4 plus spec. guest valued at $247.00 plus tax" They are official tickets. There was a note in the envelope:

Extra Bonus! This is a special ticket to help make your vacation even more special! With this ticket you are entitled to 2 extra options - totaling 4 options. There is no expiration on the 5 days at the major parks or on the options.

There is no mention as to when the offer ends, so I would call before ordering to verify that they are still substituting the special tickets for the 5day plus 2.

I emailed them before I ordered them and they said that everyone who ordered the 5 day PHP before sep 30 would get the 4 pluses instead of two. If I were you and really want the 4 pluses I'd email them first and then order. That way if for some reason you only get the 2 pluses you can tell them that they told you you would get the 4. Try e-mailing them directly and you should get a response from them explaining the details that if you order the 5+2 Hopper Plus ticket for $245 from their Yahoo site that you will in turn get the extras that heve been posted on this board as long as you order before the end of the month. A little ticket update:

Ordered tickets Monday afternoon-received them today (Thursday AM) along with the phone card + 3 guides for the Parks, Water Parks & Downtown Disney + a bunch of coupons. Had the occasion to e-mail FOT yesterday to make sure I was/would receive the 2 extra options by using their link on Yahoo for the regular 5/2 hopper plus pass and they answered in a matter of hours that indeed I would receive the extra options and the tickets were already in the mail.

Never seen a Disney pass before-Got 4 of them-Mickey, Minnie, Donald & Goofy. Also got the little note "EXTRA BONUS! This is a special ticket to help make your vacation even more special! With this ticket you are entitled to 2 extra options...................."

Back of the passes say's "5 day park hopper w/4 plus special guest
valued at 247.00 plus tax"

Look's good to me......BTW saw the 5-4's for sale on e-Bay the other day both as single and doubles.

Yep! :D

Used these tickets all last week at WDW!!! We used 4 Hopper Days and 1 Plus Day. This is an ACTUAL Disney Pass and we had had NO TROUBLE!!! We will now have 1 Hopper day and 3 Plus Days for a return visit...whenever that might be.

The only other Disney attaction that you might be interested in is Disney Quest and you must have a special admission for that place as well. Also if you are interested in miniature golf, boating, regular golf, etc - these all are priced separately.

I hope that this helps! :)

Do they offer Annual Passes??

I will be there for 10 days, but 2 I will be at seaworld and nasa... so i need 8 days.

Its cheaper to buy an AP with disney Club Discount rather than 2- 4 day hoppers.

Any thoughts??? Suggestions???
