We stayed at a suite that had a miniature golf course at the entrance, there was a little conveninece store in the parking lot (near the front of the hotel). The room had an upstairs that had two bedrooms and bath upstairs. I can't remember the name of this place, we stayed there a few years ago...does anyone know what I'm talking about?

well I think it started out as LaQuinta maingate - but to my knowledge it does not have 2-bedrooms.
everything else you mentioned yes.
you could call them - but I am pretty sure they one have hotel rooms - 2 double beds.

are you sure this is a hotel and not a timeshares?

I don't think that's it! It had a long drive from the main road and when you turned into the drive, there was a really nice miniature golf course on the road. It wasn't a time share (or I least I didn't realize it was, I just booked through the hotel), but our room had an upstairs with bedrooms, downstairs with sitting area and kitchen. I feel like I'm going crazy :)

Does Sheraton Vistana have a miniature golf course as you're driving into entrance? Do suites have the bedrooms upstairs?

sheraton vistana is a timeshares and yes they all have villas.
the older section has 2nd floors ones.
there is a golf course across the street on 535 from the Sheraton.
does this help?

Yes, that helps...I'm just frustrated because the pictures don't look the same place we stayed about 5 years ago. Thank you!

Sheraton Vistana is very different - depending upon which unit you are staying in at the time.
