My husband has a conference in June, our family wants to go, but we have a big family. Any suggestions from the hotels listed for the conference that can accomidate a family of 6 (need two bedrooms).
Orlando World Center Marriott
Hilton Garden Inn Seaworld
Wyndham Orlando Resort
Spring Hill Suites Convention Center
Sheraton World Resort
Doubletree Castle
Peabody Orlando
Doubletree Castle
Or can you recommend something near these hotels for us stay? We want something really nice, but not TOO expensive!

these are all hotel rooms.

near the Orlando World center is 3 timeshares by Marriott - they all have 2 bedrooms (although the second bedroom is small) - they are Royal Palms, Sabal Palms (better views), and Imperial Palms (only 3 bedrooms and much better reviews).

ugh, that's what I was afraid of....are these places nice? I stayed someplace a few years ago (and of cours now I can't remember where), it was yucky! I remember a miniature golf couse at the entry, then you followed a long road, there was a convenience store in the parking lot. Any idea? I just called Sheraton and they will not give their suites under the conference reserves, you must get a single or double room. We have a Starwood 50% off, but again, doesn't apply to suites. Can you recommend one of the 2 or 3 bedroom places you mentioned? I'd like a nice/clean place! We still haven't found our disney "home"...we've stayed many places on and off site (am I too picky??) :) Thanks for your help!

where is the convention?

the hotels are over the place - some are downtown Orlando, some are near Disney, some are near Seaworld.

you could try
the Hilton Grand Vacation Club - there are very nice.

of the Marriott I would go with either Sabal or Imperial to be near the World Center - of course if that is not where the convention was - I would go with Marriott's Cypress Harbour.

all of these places are expensive unless you are renting from an owner.

read the classified and read the last minute rentals over on the BBS board there.

you can compare prices to what II (the exchange company) offers the public

www.condodirect.com

sometimes you can get a deal by agreeding to listen to their sales pitch.

you can also find some referr from owners on the tug board.
