Right, I am pinching this idea from the DLP board, but it's a great one! Please can everyone post their favourite photo and tell us a little bit about it?

Although it doesn't look very obviously WDW, it was in the lobby of the Wilderness Lodge. A passerby offered to take it of all of us and we all look really happy, and seeing this photo makes me remember what a lovely day we had.

My other favourite photo is of us all being silly with Pluto at the Hollywood & Vine character breakfast (sadly discontinued) but I don't have a digital copy :(

this is from when myself and jessica rode the lead float in the festival of the dead parade at halloween horror nights. the float was called the grim reaper. we signed up about an hour in advance. signed a waiver. got on the float. hooked into a safety harness. put on our shift and got ready to throw coins and beads out. totally amazing experience being on a float with tens of thousands screaming at you for beads and coins. like being a movie star

that urn next to jessica was her supply of beads and coins. i had a guy to my left called chris and inbetween me and him was a urn 3 feet across and 4 feet tall. hollow from top to bottom and full of coins and beads plus the ones you can see on hooks behind us. between me and chris we managed to only half empty our pot!! and we were throwing fistfuls at a time.

before the parade our float lead told us one at a time under arm. as soon as we hit the parade route and she saw how busy it was she just yelled out fistfuls! throw as many as you can!!!!!!

before we even went out we lined hundreds up on our left arm to make it easier to throw them.

Kaylee- How come I can see them, is it because I posted them. I copied them from webshots and then pasted them using this formula then the image.

Hi.

I've fallen in love with Mary Poppins and I have a very understanding wife.I love the disney princesses and had a lot of fun meeting them in december 2004.My parents who came on the holiday think I'm insane.This photo is my favourite!!!!!!!!!

You have to host your picture somewhere like the DIS Photo Gallery and then link it in to your post from there :)

It was the day that DW and I got married on Sunset Pointe at Disney's Polynesian Resort :) It was DW's first trip to WDW and as such it was really magical anyway but was made even more special by the fact that we went to get married.

It was such a fantastic day, I can't think of anything better than waking up, exploring the Magic Kingdom and having breakfast with Cinderalla before marrying the girl of your dreams and whisking her off to dinnner at Victoria & Alberts.

This photo reminds me of that perfect day and the magical surroundings.

Me on Dumbo in DLP. We'd just had breakfast in the Pinnochio restaurant, and the park was completely deserted, so we had the ride all to ourselves, which was so lovely. (We also had our pick of the elephants, hence I'm in the pink one! :teeth: )

Me dancing with a penguin! We were waiting up to have our photo taken with him at the end of the day, and anyone who's done this at DLP will know what a nightmare it is trying to have a photo with the characters. While I was being elbowed out the way by increasing numbers of children, the penguin came over and took my hand, and we waltzed all around Town Square.

Two really great memories. :)

And then one of my fav fav wedding shots was this - for those that didn't know (stop yawning ;)) we got married last May at The Yacht Club Gazebo with 40 of our friends and family and then we had our reception at the old no longer used restaurant "Ariels" at the Beach Club but it was so cool having a couple of extra guests :

I am notorious for hating being in pictures, however fortunately for you Ms Sam, I like that picture of us too and that is one of the few photo's on my 'approved list' - guess I let you stick around this place afterall ;)

Hmmm...not sure - I think that was still fairly early in the day so I think that might have been pre-drink...that said it was EPCOT so anything is possible ;)

Thanks for letting me know that my photo's came out. The NEMO one was done at MGM, not sure of the name of the shop, but I do remember it was not far from the Backlot Tour where they sold loads of film soveniers. I remember buying a clapperboard in there and a small tin bucket with Marilyn Monroe on, although what DIsney film she was in I dont know.

It was very embarrising having it done as everyone was stood around watching me trying to balance my not to small frame on a box while doing a swimming action, but not half as bad as having this one done:

I'm always saying you've got too much flippin' time on your hands! ;)

These were taken during our Dec 03/Jan04 trip for my darling brother's (:rolleyes2 ) 40th birthday.

Pic 1 was taken at the villa before going out to V&As for his birthday dinner (we'd already polished off a bottle of champagne :rolleyes1 ).

Pic 2 was taken at the Ritz Carlton Golf Clubhouse - loved it there; can't wait to go back.

Pic 3 is just outside my favourite place at Sea World - the Anheuser Busch Hospitality Center -
mmmm bee-er! :drinking1 ).

Pic 4 is at Disney's Eagle Pines.

This confuses me too. doesn't take much these days :rotfl: .
I know we have to have them up on the internet in an album. Can someone suggest the best site Please? I have seen several mentioned in various posts.

The DIS has its own (go to “pictures/video” at the top of the DISboard page and when it takes you to the main board it says: “add your own Disney pictures here” or "DIS community gallery", then just follow the instructions to upload them from your computer etc. If you've uploaded your photos from a digital camera you're halfway there. Your pictures will now have their own individual URLs.
When your photos have a URL
1. get the photo to the size you want by double left-clicking on it to make it big
2. rightclick on the photo you want to use
3. properties
4. rightclick on URL address
5. select all
6. rightclick again
7. copy
8. go back to the text where you want to put the photo
9. type: address with no spaces

If you try to upload a bitmap image it probably won’t work. Go to “file” and “save as” – change to jpeg.
