I have reservations for 3 nights at RPR. However, if they offer a good AP rate, I would consider changing to HRH or adding nights at RPR. Do you have to cancel the old reservation before adding a new one? I know years ago people used to have more than one reservation at WDW and then they stopped it. The only reason I would do this is if a good rate appears when I can't use the phone to change the reservation I have. Thanks!

Yes, you can do this. I've had reservations at all 3 Universal hotels before the for same time period. Just couldn't make up my mind until a couple of weeks before the trip :) I always felt funny when I would call, but they never said a word about my multiple reservations.

This is a great idea. So you have time to make up your mind and then cancel everything you do not need.
And all the people who are waiting for good rates and do get them because the hotels are booked very good will be very grateful for that, too.
Do you really think that the hotels will sell rooms cheaper if they are fully booked?
So why are you doing this?
