Hi. Not sure if I'm posting in the right forum, but hope you can help! We are trying to figure out what to do the day we fly home. Our flight isn't until 6:30 pm so we have quite a bit of time to kill. Our parkhoppers will be used up so we were thinking maybe Kennedy Space? Anyone have any ideas? We're traveling with our 4 kids, ages 8-13 and they're game for anything! Thanks so much!

Downtown Disney or the Boardwalk areas are both fun and you don't need tickets for either. Downtown has lots of shops and stuff and you can rent bikes or boats at the boardwalk. You could also explore some of the other resorts to get some ideas for future trips. Hope that helps a little!

If you're thinking you might be Disneyed out, KSC does, indeed rock, althought that's not really a lot of time there. Another option which we thought was really cool was the Jungle Adventures (http://www.jungleadventures.com). You get a swamp tour, lots of animals to see, and interaction. We got to pet a Florida panther! I thought that, by itself, was worth the price of admission.

I vote DisneyQuest. Your age kids will love it and we were surprised that us adults had as much fun ! We eat inside, the food is good, and unless it has changed it was by Cheesecake Factory. Pirate Ride is awesome pirate:

Ok What time R u leaving for the airport maybe 3:30- 4? R U going in the summer months? My driver usually picks us up about 3:30 for a 6:30 flight.
We usually get up a little later say 8:30- 9 and have a quick breakfast then to the pool for a few hours. Dont forget to pack a small bag with your change of clothes for the ride home. About 11 we go to lunch at either Chef Mickeys for a late character breakfast or early lunch. Rent a Boat for an hour or so at the Contemporary. Go for one more spin on the Monorail--ask to sit up front. Take the boat to from the pier at Magic kindom just to see where they go. Go for a spin on the Big Showboat. Save that day to purchase the souvenirs. It does take awhile to get from hotel to hotel.
The other thing is Wilderness lodge's Whispering Canyon for lunch. Then back to our hotel to wait for our car to the airport.
Disneyquest does cost to get in and there are some costs to do some of the things inside. Most are included in the admission.

I wouldnt do KSC on my last day. It is a long tripat least an hour with no traffic. I would worry that i would be late for my flight.

I like to save a character meal for the final morning. We did Crystal Palace, but that was when we had length of stay passes. With the new system, I would do Chef Mickeys or 1900 Park Faire.

i believe it costsabout $30 a person to get in it is worth it though. once you are in most everything is included. it is an interactive theme park. they have all kinds of interactive rides and arcade games. for example you can build your own rollercoaster on a computer and then ride it in a simulater. lots of fun for kids and adults!!
