Advice needed...OKW or BCV...for September of '05

:D Hello,

We are planning our first trip to Disney for September of '05 for our family of 4, children ages 9 & 6.

We are looking at Old Key West and Beach Club Villas. Any pro or cons out there? The one pro towards OKW that I have right now is price. Over $600 less.

are you using points or paying cash??? if your paying cash you seriously should consider renting because with renting at 10 dollars a point both resorts would cost you the same............and your kids would love Stormalong bay pool............that is the main reason to go to the BCV over OKW...........not cash

Pool is better at BCV and probably BWV. More in the "center" of things.

LOTS more space in your unit at OKW. More relaxed atmosphere.

How long are you going for? Because if it were close to 10 days or two weeks, I'd say BOTH;) Split the stay, and you don't have to pick one over the other;)LOL!!

We adore OKW. We pool hopped to BWV and walked around BCV, and they were both beautiful - but we didn't see the rooms.
We loved the size of the OKW 1 bedroom for our family of 4. The atmosphere was so casual and relaxed, and the kids had no problem entertaining themselves! Now the new pool slide will be open, even better!!!! We really enjoyed the boat ride to DTD, and it never took us more than 20 minutes to catch a bus and get to a park. The store there was quite large, with plenty of last minute grocery items, the grounds were immaculate even 3 days after a hurricane hit, and the staff was fabulous! I'm biased - but hey - it's home!
I'll bet you'll have a great time no matter where you stay..... and OKW is cheaper and has bigger rooms!
