One Way Transportation from WDW to UO then to Airport?

We (5 of us) will be at WDW & will need 1 way transportation from WDW to Universal & then from Universal to MCO airport. Any thoughts on the best transportation option? We won't need a rental car & it seems the town car services are running at around $121 plus tip. Any other options I should consider?

Mears might be cheaper. A taxi will be about $50 from ariport to WDW and then $25 from WDW to Universal and $25 from Universal to the airport.

Since you have 5, you will need a taxi van. I just took one in December and it was $34 for the trip from All-Star Sports to Hard Rock Hotel. I wouldn't think that the trip to the airport would be much more expensive than that, so you would be cheaper than the towncar rate

Thanks for the tips :D . Does anyone know the name of any taxi company that offers taxi vans? When getting a taxi, do you just call them the day that you need them? Thanks!

I believe there are taxi phones at the airport and there are always taxis outside.

I just asked the luggage people at the hotel to call - I don't remember the name of the company since they did all the work. I think they took about 10 minutes to arrive at the hotel after they called. It was just enough time to get our stuff out of storage and ready to go in the van when they arrived. Of course the company could take longer, but the bell hops or valet should be able to arrange everything for you

Thanks so much! As you may have figured out from my question, I don't have any taxi experience. Sounds simple enough, so we may opt for the taxi van.
