BWV request room

We had a few points left over from our recent exchange to Hawaii so I just booked a long weekend at BW in honor of my pumpkin's upcoming 2nd b-day this Feb. We only had enough points for a standard view studio. Do I need to request non-smoking? Is there any particular room location we should opt for? This is actually the first time we'll be using our points at home, even though we've been members for a few years. We wanted to wait until our first DD was old enough to be aware of the Disney magic! Any ideas? thanks!

Most definitely make non-smoking a priority request. As to standard view room location, all are fine. Those with view of tennis courts can also see MGM (but are farthest from the elevators). Upper floor rooms (4 and 5) away from the elevators (but not tennis court view) have a view of the higher fireworks from Illuminations.
