Still debating on cars...

For Emerald Club members, when do they ask you for coupons and if you want insurance etc.? If you head right to your car, how do you know what you are being charged for?

When you sign up for Emerald Club you are asked your insurance preferences. They remain the same unless changed by you on a particular reservation. Coupons are collected at the gate when you drive out. If you reserve via the National website, and enter your contract ID and Coupon ID numbers, you will be quoted a price including all fees and taxes, except for gasoline fill up. Be sure to get a confirmation e-mail and have a copy with you...just in case there is a problem. They have always honored my quoted price without any problems or hassle.

When I drive out, I always give them the following at the gate:
1. National EA card.
2. Driver License.
3. Credit Card.
4. Coupons.

And your on your way.

as Chuck said, when you join the EC, you set up a master contract with all of your pertinent information.
