How long of a walk is it from the PBH to the parks? We would like to stay at PBH in August (more our style), but the walk looks pretty long.

The walk is pretty long. I walked from the HRH to PBH and it took ages on the winding path. On the way back to the HRH I walked through the main entrance of the PBH, across the road and through the car park & lobby of the HRH to get back to the pool, it was much quicker but still a fair old walk.

Its a long walk, and if it is very hot, it can be unbearable. We always take the boat. It runs very often and is an enjoyable ride.

I think it depends on the people. I really dont consider it that long a walk. Its much longer than HRH is yes, but not a terrible walk at all. Heading out we look to see where the boat is at and how many are waiting sometimes they will double up when busy if I have to wait longer than 10 minutes we walk. I think it takes us between 15-20 to walk it. On the way back to the hotel after a long day of wlking we may be more inclined to wait for a boat but even then I have walked it and it isnt bad.

My wife and I actually considered it a nice walk. At the end of the day, it was a bit tiring, but if we got a drink from Margaritaville, we just leisurely went from the park to the hotel.

It's about a 15 minute leisurely walk. But if the queque for the boat to return to the resort is very long, there is a bus that is also available to take you to the PBR. We didn't take it until the last day we were there,, and were kicking ourselves for not trying it before. We were the only ones on it as well. The bus stop is just to the left of where the walking path is leading to the HRH and the PBR.

How long of a walk is it from the PBH to the parks?
It is over 4000 feet to US and nearly a mile to IOA. The least walking from PBH to US comes from riding the bus. The least walking to IOA from PBH is the water taxi. I've done the walk with 80 y.o. MIL to look at all of the beautiful landscaping. She tired and we hopped the water taxi at HRH. :boat:
