PBH v HRH with kids

We stayed at RPH last year and loved it. This year we want to try another onsite hotel - loved FOL priveliges. We will possibly be going late august early September. I have loked at many photos of both hotels and there is something I like about both of them. The kids will want to spend a lot of time in the pool, so I thought maybe HRH would be best with the dive in movies and undewater music. Then I thought the HRH maybe full of 20 yr olds being rowdy. We are also loewes first gold members and would pay to upgrade to a suite for the $35 if we one was available. What are your thoughts ?

Hi....i have stayed at both....i have 2 girls 10 and 14.....they have only stayed at Portofino...they love that pool....it has waterfalls and neat little cave to swim under...and the slide is good....I think if they would of stayed at HRH with me...they would of liked the Portofino better.....but HRH has a nice pool too....I liked the Portofino better...but I did like that you could walk from HRH...so I don't know where I would choose the next time....amy
