I know I’m bombarding everyone today, but I need to get an approximate idea on how many are interested in going to tea at the Grand hosted by Barb, as conventions will hold space for us. I’m unsure of the day and time but it most likely will be the afternoon of Thursday or Friday. I am still going to try and have the holiday tour end with this however I have no idea if this is possible yet.

Please sign up below if you are interested and include the number of persons attending –thanks

However, if possible, could you make it for Friday. The Thrill Ride Tour, hosted by Barry, is Thursday and I really want to do that. Friday is open, so far, and would be a better day for the tea. Thanks, Linda

I don't think this is the official sign up. This is just a feeler to see if there was any interest. The turn out so far looks great! :D

Okay, a little early, but what do you plan on wearing to the tea? It is Disney, but it is also the GF. What are people planning on wearing. (and don't tell me you haven't thought about it! Girls always think about what they are going to wear!):D :bounce:

Barb
08-17-2001, 10:04 PM
It will depend on the weather. If it's nice, I will probably go with my Pooh skort and a top. If it's cold, I will probably go with a Disney sweater and jeans. When I'm in WDW, I wear all my Disney shirts. So one way or another, there will be something Disney. :D :D

I know what you mean. I am getting quite a collection of Disney wear. I have these great Pooh jeans, they are wide leg, a couple of inches above the ankle with litttle red, yellow and orange embridered flowers on the hem and a pooh on one leg. Awfully cute!

Oh, maybe I need a new outfit...hmmm. possibilities...shopping?:D :bounce: :D :bounce: :D

So I guess you could say we're a maybe!

Barb

LOL, Tia! :D Hope you can make it! :)
Ray, I don't know if they are still planning the holiday tour in association with the tea or not. Right now, it's not on the schedule. I would love to do that, too. It would be a perfect ending to the tour.

Not sure when Linda said the schedule for tours would be up. It would be a nice way to end the tour though. Count me in for 1. BYOC (bring your own Coke).

luvdsny
08-20-2001, 10:04 AM
Thank goodness Martha won't be there, because I'm pretty sure we're not supposed to wear 'DISney' attire to a tea either! :D

I need to find a cute DISney outfit for the tea.....maybe DD and I could match! :bounce:

Barb
08-20-2001, 11:39 AM
Martha Stewart-PHOOEY!!!
Tia, that would make a great picture!:) You and your DD in matching outfits, just like they show in the Disney catalogs!

I wanna go. I have done the one in Disneyland and it is really neat. One time it was just me and my mom and they seated us early while they waited for this group of brownies and their mothers. We were the only there not part of this group and we got lots of one on one time with Mary Poppins before the girls showed up it was neat.

glo

Does this mean I have to pack a dress? Yikes!!

Someone please let me know?

Barb
10-23-2001, 01:30 PM
Glo, don't worry. I'm not wearing a dress and I don't think we have to "dress" up for this. I will probably be wearing whatever I have on for that day's events. I don't like to keep changing clothes throughout the day. Unless we hear differently, I'm going "resort casual". LOL (jeans/shorts and a tee shirt/tank top) :D :D

Mackey Mouse
10-23-2001, 05:17 PM
I have attended the tea at the GF.. it is casual.. just as WDW is usually.. I am planning on this Barb..

Patrick IL.
10-23-2001, 07:23 PM
beer flavored????:p NO I must respectfully decline as my presence is required somewhere else at that time:rolleyes: :D

glo
10-23-2001, 07:28 PM
Oh Patrick say it isn't so..... :( If you wear your top hat, you can hide your beer hat underneath....I won't even tell you have it on under there....It will be painless, I promise....lol

tammyh-oregon
10-23-2001, 07:39 PM
You know they make those top hats with ears for formal wear and glo could have formal minnie ears except I don't think they make them anymore. I have a pair with a gold lame bow from the opening days of MGM.

And to you gentlemen, if my husband can handle the tea so can you. So please join us in all your glory but remember you must keep your pinkie out when you hold your cup of tea or your secret will be out that you have never been.

Patrick IL.
10-23-2001, 08:04 PM
As much as I would like to, I just do not see this happening:)

Mackey Mouse

Patrick, sweetie, darling, I do not see how you have a choice here...lol..You have two women so far all dressed up and waiting for you to escort them....lol.
