Which would you choose, 1, 2, or 3 and why? We've rented one so we can watch the Superbowl by the pool, but I want to know that I've gotten the right one. 1 and 3 are by hot tubs, but 3 is more private. #2 faces the pool, so we can watch the 7 and 5 year old swim. What does anyone think?

I don't have an answer for you, but am interested in what others think.

Do they do a "dive-in" movie at RPR or is that only HRH?

Thanks for the bump. They did a dive-in movie on Saturday night when we were there last January, but I didn't even notice the cabanas.

Did you happen to notice if they did it any other night? We will be there Monday through Friday...

Is there a charge for the cabana? What is in a cabana?

I'm sorry. I don't know. We were only there for one night. It was The Hulk the night we stayed, and we ordered meals from the bar and ate them by the pool.

When we were there, I did notice that cabana 1, which is right next to the busy hot tub did get a crowd around it. That's why I thought it might not be the best choice, but it is right next to the big hot tub, which is nice.

The RPR cabanas seem so small next to the HRH ones, but I guess it's worth the rental for the tv on Superbowl Sunday. Those cabanas sure are peaceful and tropical looking, too.

In case you haven't seen the locations close up, I thought these pics might help you decide:

Pool from overhead (you can see the cabanas 1,2,3 - left to right) - sorry, unless you know the general location, I guess the pic is too small to see them - they are just above the middle of the pic:

Personally, I would choose Cabana #2 - it offers the most space around the cabana - anyone using the hot tubs next to #s 1 & 3 are practically in your cabana - and you may find people hanging out there trying to listen to the game - of course, that might be fun, too ! If you have little ones, you can easily sit in #2 and at least see the pool - you cannot see the pool from 1 or 3. Have a great day whatever you decide - I agree that, although I think the RPR cabanas are waaay too small, for watching the game by the pool it's $$ well spent - Enjoy ! :smooth:

Wow! Those pictures are perfect. I picked #2, so I guess we'll stick with that decision. The kids can swim if it's nice, and we'll watch the game-- and the kids. If the weather's not nice or if the Steelers don't make it to the Superbowl, we'll just cancel the cabana.

Thanks bjakmom.
