Is anyone afraid to fly them after the Christmas holidays mess? Here's my reason for asking for my family of four to fly them it would be 753.70 (with 1 stop) flights are pretty good vs. over 950.00with American Airlines or Airtran for a direct flight. The timeframe is 5/28/05----6/4/05.

I think under federal law other airlines must accept tickets from a bankrupt airline with only a small surcharge (like $25 or $50 per ticket). So even if you end up in that situation it would still be cheaper (though much more hassle) in the end.

USAirways has received funding through June so they should be OK. For up to the minute info on USAirways I suggest visiting www.flyertalk.com, go to miles and points then the USAirways forum.

I see US Airways is having a quick seat sale. I don't see Orlando included in the promo though.
