Hi everyone--I love reading everyone's journals and find everyone to be so inspirational--so I figured I might jump right in and post my own journal.

A little about me- My name's Melissa and I'm 20 years old. In the past 3 years I have gained 55 pounds. I blame it all on my boyfriend of the last 3 years!! :-) I have been on Atkind (losing 30 pounds) and Weight Watchers (most recently I had lost 20 pounds and have gained it all back)

I really want to lose weight but I REALLY just want to be healthy. I plan on getting married next year and starting a family too and I want to be healthy.

Tomorrow is the start of a new day!!

My DW trip is in April and I want to make sure I can walk the parks with no problem.

Starting Weight:227 pounds
Goal Weight:140 pounds
Goal for Disney World Trip:200 pounds (27 pounds gone in 2 and a half months? Is it possible!! I'll try!!)

Allright Day One of taking the WISH challenge.....

As soon as I woke up I went straight to my apartment's fitness room and walked on the treadmill. I only did 20 minutes which was not quite a mile. I figure I will have to work my way to doing more. Plan on doing some crunches with my ab roller before I go into work tonight.

After walking on the treadmill, I went straight to the grocery store (parked in very last parking spot to get some extra walking in!) and bought HEALTHY food!

My biggest weakness are snacks--chips,popcorn,pretzles,crackers....so I totally skipped that aisle and instead bought fruit and carrots to snack on!

I'm very excited about this!! :)

Way to go Melissa! I'm new here, too, and I'm trying to lose 15 pounds by my March WDW trip. It sounds like you are off to a great start with exercise and healthy food. I'll look for you again!
