My cousin is moving his family from Northern WV to Columbia, SC. Looong ways from home and his kids (all WDW nuts!) are pretty upset.

Here is a trick to those who go often and do this often. You buy extra post cards to bring home, then you can fill them out and have them ready to go before you leave and just pop them in the mail at WDW! Of course you need a variety but they do have them in packs. Just thought I'de share that time saver hint.

I too am looking for anyones help. We are taking my DN with us Nov 29- Dec. 9th. She still doesn't know that she's going. She has been to the World only once, and that was with her mother that just doesn't like "Amusment Parks" ( I have explained Disney isn't an amusment park, but, it get through). So needless to say DN didn't have a great time. My DD can't understand NOT having fun.

What I am asking for, if someone could mail her a post card soon from the fab 5 inviting her to join us on our next trip. And one to my DD saying they can't wait to see her again.

I wish you could have seen the look on my son's face when he saw he got a postcard from the Mouse himself. PRICELESS!!!! I was worried that being almost 9 he would start to shy away from the magic, but this card just completely made his day. He was shocked and thrilled! He read the card like 5 times. He asked me how Mickey knew he was coming and then he said "Nevermind Mom, Mickey totally has magic powers so of course he knew I was coming!" Wow, I can not WAIT to send my postcards out. Whoever sent this card to Ryan .... I cannot say thank you enough. You really made us smile. Wow, what an awesome thing to do!

A couple of years ago, our oldest son decided at the last minute not to ride the Rockn roller coaster. Not a problem. There is plenty to do. That same afternoon I mailed a Rockn Rollercoaster postcard. When we got home I gave him the post card from Disney. It said the they missed him on the ride. He thought is was the coolest thing. We have been since that trip and he stil refuses to ride that ride. Oh well...maybe one day.

You can only get 20 words or so on a postcard, so find one of Cinderella, and on the back write:

My Dear [name of DD],

I am so looking forward to seeing you during your very first visit to the Magic Kingdom. You truly must come to visit me at my castle, where you could sit with me before you dine in my royal chambers, which overlooks my own Golden Carrousel. This is such a great idea! We received our postcards today . . . what an experience. It is a wonderful deal for a child to get one of these cards, but we had a wonderful DISer who agreed to also send cards to a grandparent that is also going. This was GREAT!

I've discovered a bit of information that would make it a lot easier for me to send a sensational postcard after this last trip. Make sure you let me know if there's a particular character your child would like to hear from. This gives me a little direction as to what to say. :goodvibes

Madison, our DD3 received 2 princess cardsfrom 2 :goodvibes diff Dissers!, on 2 diff. days! She was so excited! I was amazed that both senders spent extra $ on the cards, as they were hologram cards!! AMAZING!! See the thing with the letters is you can do them all up before you leave, address them stamp them and everything, then when you get there you can send right away! It saves alot of time!
