Hi DISers! I'm back after a hectic, exhausting 2 weeks of Orlando fun. We ate a lot, partied a lot and had the most incredible weather (low 80's every day with no rain). I will be writing full trip and dining reports when I get myself together a bit but in the meantime if I can answer any questions I will be happy to.

Welcome back Claire!

I'm glad you had great weather - we came home on the day you arrived :( and I saw that the weather had brightened up considerably from the cold and rain we had had, LOL

I'd love to hear what you enjoyed best :)

Cheers

So many things:

-Turtle Talk with Crush. My DD5 really belives Crush was there and keeps telling everybody that hes really real!

-Boma. Not everyone in my party loved it as much as me but for choice, food and value I though this was great. I now understand the fuss about Zebra Domes.

-Mission Space. This is a great new attraction and left me feeling a little woozy for a couple of hours but the thrill was so worth it. Could have done this again.

-Pin Trading. We got in to this big time. The kids loved getting a new present every time and it was fun to talk to new people.

Stitch- no, not the attraction but the charcter. We met him about 4 times and he was always funny and disgusting. He's my absolute favourite.

-Flexible height requirements- I know that my DS3 is not quite 40" and I know that DD5 is not quite 44" but low and behold every time we tried bar one my kids managed to get on rides with these requirements. The only time DS3 did not was Splash Mountain and he had just come off the same ride. I know I should not be encouraging anything that isn't safe or suitable but I knew the rides and I know what my kids can take. They are toughies who love the thrill. They both loved Tower of Terror and DD5 said Space Mountain was her favourite ride.

These are just some of the things for now. Hopefully it will all come back to me for my trip report,
Claire

We absolutely loved Turtle Talk too Claire!

My DDs both thought it was real and talked about it for days (are still talking about it now, in fact)

We've had the same "problem" with our DD4, who is quite tall for her age. However, everytime we go it does mean we can look forward to her going on something new.

Rather worryingly, she loves the Tower of Terror and if it were up to her, we would ride it every day.
