Vrbo?

Has anyone ever had trouble with renting through this website? I understand that you actually rent through the owners, but has anyone gotten stuck with something that wasn't what it seemed to be? I just want to try to cover my bases before jumping into this. Thanks for any help.

I've rented through orlandovillas.com which is the same concept. You rent direct from the owner. We had a very positive expierence and wouldn't hesitate to do it again.

I have used VRBO twice and have had positive experiences both times.

We have a villa in Sarasota which we advertize with Vbro and have had no problems.

The lady who runs the site is very helpful and if you need any reassurance about any owners she will try and give it.

I agree, we have rented a place that was listed on VRBO and it worked out great and I recommed it to my friends to check out.

I rented once from vrbo and it was great and much cheaper than if I had booked at the same resort through the local realty companies.
