If you could stay at any time share property in Orlando, what would it be and why?

There are a few folks that post here occasionally that have stayed at multiple timeshare properties, so hopefully you'll get a few responses from people who can help you compare and contrast.
We've only stayed at the Vistana Resort, so I can tell you why we like this property. First of all, it is very close to Disney - we are usually able to get to the gates at any of the theme parks within 10-20 minutes of leaving our condo. Second, it has 7 different pools and each area of the resort is convenient to at least one of these pools. Third, there are planned activities all day, every day, so if you want to plan a down day, it is usually fun to spend part of it at the resort. Finally, we thought there was very little pressure to buy more timeshare weeks - you are asked at check-in whether you'd like to take a tour and if you decline you might receive a phone call in the middle of the week checking to make sure you really don't want to take a tour.
In fact, we liked it so much after renting weeks there three times that we purchased a week re-sale.

Disney vacation club, of course  However, my opinion may be little biased. :earboy2:
There are many fine timeshare properties in and around Orlando and WDW such as Marriott, HGVC and Fairfield just to name a few but my favorite is DVC.

tamu - we agree again - DVC is a timeshare trades thru II
II Interval International is an exchange company
RCI is the other big exchange company
Marriott (mostly) also trades thru II
Sheraton Vistana does both
Orange Lake only thur RCI
Hilton Grand Vacation Club (HGVC) thru RCI
Fairfield at some resort does both - but the home company that owns Fairfield also own RCI ???? Mostly it is RCI
most of the ones you heard mentioned on this board is thru RCI - that home company also owns www.skyauction.com
II does not do auction on their site that is open to the public
www.condodirect.com
so you don't have the great deals that you can get on skyauction.
If you want to learn more about timeshares - go join
www.tug2.net
it cost $15 to have access to everything and it is money well spend!!!
tug - timeshares users group
the best besides DVC - in my opinion is HGVC - however I liked Sheraton Vistana more. I also loved the Marriott. Marriott's Grande Vista and Cypress Harbour.
