Hi there, I have been away from the boards for a while, as I have not been in a position to re-book a Florida holiday. But the time has come when the urge is too strong, and I am starting to plan a trip for Feb 06.

When we went last Feb I picked up a great tip from these boards about taking out a Nat West gold card and purchasing their independant CDW insurance for the car hire. This only cost about £75 and saved us a fortune. Unfortunately I no longer have the details for the company that provide this and a search on these boards didn't help.

Can anyone confirm whether this CDW insurance is still available and give a contact number for the firm who provide it. I remember it was all a bit of a faff getting through to someone at Nat West last time who actually knew what I was talking about.

The last time I took out the NatWest insurance (about 18 months ago) I used 01273 765340 but I don't know whether that's up to date now.

Good luck :)

If you use the number that Hilary provided and try quoting code NWCRI. This might help speed things up a bit.

Good luck!
