i have been so busy with Christmas stuff I never got a chance to post about my daughters birthday party Michael's.

First many of you may remember I'm not always a big fan of the store. However ours in under new mangement and I can't say enough about the postive changes I have seen in the place. So I decided to give the party idea a shot. My DD just turned 4 and it was more suitable for her, her friends age then a paint your own pottery place. Plus the price ws better. When I meet with the ladies and was shown the idea book I was not really sold on any ideas. I wanted a cute easy Christmas craft. So the birthday party org. came up with her own idea of Christmas bags. I gave her a $6 figure to work with. Each child got a red or green bag, sponged painted it with holiday shapes and then got to add big glitter rinestones. Perfect of 4 year olds. They all loved it!!

I was able to order pizza and bring in food and cake. We had time for one game of Care Bear Bingo that I made and brought in and then cake presents and goodie bags. Fun, easy, and a great price. Best of all I did not have to clean up at all!

There is a limit to how many people can attend because of the size of the room. However one child did not show up and she did not charge me for her.

Overall I was very happy with this idea.

Sounds like they did a good job for you. I've thought about having a kid's party there myself, but haven't looked into it yet.

Not sure if you have any JoAnn's in your area but they also do parties like that. If we were not taking my DD to Disney for her B-day that was what we were going to do.

Sounds like a great time. And like you said best of all - No Clean up. :cool1:
