Hello everyone :) I have a small request...

Just a little background on why I ask: a lot of my goals for 2005 have to do with the betterment of myself and others - including being able to donate baskets and gifts to the local women and children's shelters (and my big goal of being a Wish Granter for Make-A-Wish).

In order to complete a few of the items I want to make, I need buttons! :) I've been collecting them from friends and family members, but I thought would ask here, as well, just in case anyone has any extras.

If you do have some buttons lying around that you have no use for, and would like to donate them, please PM me :) I'd love to have them. I'll be happy to post some pictures of the finished items and baskets and such when they're done if you'd like to see what your donation helped to create :)

Also - if anyone has done up baskets for donations in the past - do you have any suggestions for what types of things were well-received and/or most needed?

TIA! I appreciate you taking a second to read this and any advice anyone may have :) :flower:

Many scouts in my area are always collecting small travel size shampoo's and soaps to make into baskets. Then they add wash clothes and toothbrushes etc.. Good luck with this project.

i just donated all my extra buttons to preschool for DD.

Thanks, Julianne :) I always stock up on as many travel size shampoos and soaps as I can when there are coupons out that make them free or cheap, but I hadn't thought of including wash clothes and things such as that. Great idea!
